Hi....
I cant personally tell you how to go about sending them but I would suggest that you call the prison first to find out if they even ALLOW the inmates to receive packages... some places they dont.... try posting in the california forum I am sure someone there will be of help to you!!! But call the prison first before you mail a package....

Imurelmo, I have sent many writing packages (as I so like to call them) to my husband at high dessert in Susanville. These packages contain 2 pages of 37 cents postage stamps, 20 envelopes and 2 tablets with the card board backs taken off. And a letter included along with it. They are allowed to receive up to 200 pages of writing paper, 20 envelopes and 40 stamps per package. Now if you send them regular mail it will cost more probably around $5. I choose to send them priority mail flat rate and the costs is $3.85. And there is no limit to the amount of writing packages you can send in. I do hope this information is a help to you. If you have any other questions just pm me.
