One night I got stranded when I had gone up to see by man. It was a 3 hour drive and a horrible bizzard moved in and we decided it would be best if I did not try to go back home that night.

So I went down to Kmart and tried to pick up everything I would need as cheaply as possible. The cheapest shampoo & conditioner was Alberto VO5. Figuring that it would work just for the night, I bought it. Stawberries & Cream. I used it that night and took it home and put it in the cabinet.

Then a month ago I ran out of conditioner at home. I dug it out and used that and I noticed that day my hair was really soft and no tangles (I have really long hair). It's been over a month now and I'm still using this stuff. I love it! :) My hair is breaking less, snarling less, and is softer. And best of all, this stuff is CHEAP!!!!! :cool:

Ah yes!! I SWEAR by VO5!! 89 cents a bottle here - can't beat it - the Balsam & Protein one is great too!

I like Suave too. It's .79 a bottle here and it works really good.

I have long thick hair... and for so long I was using expensive shampoo and conditioner... I would pay 15.00 a bottle for shampoo and 12 for conditioner...
Spending the weekend at my mans house I had no shampoo.... So I send him out to the drug store to get me some and he came back with Herbal Essensce. He liked the smell, and said... "look honey, its purple... your favorite color" (too cute)... I used it, and since then I won't go back ,to spending so much on shampoo/condtioner... I come to find that your spending the money on the name not the product.

I have used Suave and Alberto forever and even my hair dresser - who says I have the softest, prettiest hair - doesn't know! She thinks I use the high dollar stuff! The only time I use something expensive is if I have a free sample of it!

I use cream of nature conditioning shampoo and its the best.

I also use the suave glazing gel..its awesome!!! :thumbsup:
