I found this site hoping to get a little help and piece of mind over all I guess. My older and only brother is currently in a texas detention center while I and my mom are all the way in Chicago. We talk to him 2 times a weeks, but we have no idea if he is going to be transferred to somewhere else. He doesn't have one of those TDCJ numbers and I don't know how to find that out or to make sure that I don't lose him off the bat if he is moved. He signed a deal for a 4 yr sentence for his probation being revoked. I'm really scared and sad although I am trying to be strong for my mom. Sorry-that last part was just me letting a bit out cause i really haven't been able to. Any help would be greatly appreciated....:(

lilsisinchi- I know how you must be feeling especially being so far away- I am in another country -my brother is in California so it is very difficult-esp. trying to get information. PTO has been so valuable and supportive. It helps to realize that there are many people feeling just like you. I am glad you can talk to him anyway.I guess you have been to the Texas forum?
