Has anyone heard anything new about reduction is time for Va inmates? David says his councelors are talking about it now. Let me know.

I heard nothing so far , but I will ask Clinton tonight when I write...will still be two weeks till I hear from him back though...I will also e-mail my friend Rae who's husband is in prison where Clinton is...if I hear anything I will be sure to post it here! but any news like this, even if it is just a rumour, does make me feel good a bit!

The same rumors are going around Alabama - I just hope and pray it's true.

I heard the same thing from Amp as well its the 65% Law and they are supposed to reach a decision by June or July this year. I hope they decide yes.

Haven't heard anything on this lately. It would be wonderful.

Some people told my boy that the 65% thing was posted in some facilities. He is in a county jail, but they said it was posted in some of the prisons. He is federal so i won't help him. I hope it is true for everybody else.

I THINK WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT IS THE NEW SB5 BILL THAT WAS PASSED, I DON'T KNOW THE SPECIFICS EXACTLY BUT IT IS A BILL THAT WAS PASSED IN APRIL TO REDUCE THE TIME SERVED BY FIRST TIME OFFENDERS, AND NON VIOLENT OFFENDERS BY 35% OR THEY ONLY HAVE TO SERVE 35% OF THERE TIME EITHER WAY IT'S GOOD NEWS, IT DOESN'T GO INTO EFFECT UNTIL AUGUST 23 OR 28 NOT SURE.

Is it a state or federal thing tho???

Rumors are goiing around MN too, that something is going on, nobody really says what tho

um... well you know thats a good question... whats the difference between state and fed?i'll have to check on that and let you know, i know that it ca. is not the only state effected by it, alabama, texes, virginia, missouri,arkansas, etc... are all involved but i will find out and let you know ?
