I was wondering if anyone on here lives in the phoenix area and goes to Yuma to visit? If so would anyone be willing to carpool? I wont have my drivers license for a month or two, but, Id pay for the expenses. Or does anyone know where to find out on carpool information? Thanks

Hey Karen, I live in Tucson and probably won't make the trip for 2 months or so, but maybe you could ask whoever you're going to visit and see if he can ask around and find someone that would be willing to carpool with you. My man suggested that once...just a thought

Thanks for the advice. I know hes tried contacting the chaplain, but, he never got back with my boyfriend. So, Ill tell him to ask around there. Thank You again for the advice.

My man is in Yuma and I would like to find some too keep me company through the long three hour drive. So if you would like to see about carpooling let me know. What unit is your man in?

I'm going down to Yuma on Monday ... unfortunately MyGuy is in CDU .. still yet / again ... WTF ever ... they transferred him from Douglas saying they were moving him back to a GP yard .. but when he got to Yuma they put him right back in CDU ... IF and WHEN :blah: they ever move him to a where I can see him on weekends ... I'll probably go every weekend. IF and WHEN that happens, I'll be glad to post here that I'm going to see him .. and wouldn't mind sharing the ride. I live south of the valley .. but we could meet out around Casa Grande or something. I'll post when things mellow and I can see him on weekends. ;)

Unfortunately I / We are still only allowed visits on weekdays. Monday or Friday. I was just in Yuma on Friday ... visits with MyGuy are only 2 hours behind a glass ... his remaining time is short .. however as I said before ... IF and WHEN we get regular visits again ... I'd be more than glad to carpool or share th expense with some of you ladies. I'll keep you posted. :(
