Welp, I had a really bad day! Tomorrow was supposed to be Sonny and My wedding day! They were not allowed visits for Christmas so I've been waiting to hear if the status changed. I kept calling and the visitation recording was not changed. So I got ahold of a real person and they said they were going to have a meeting but would not know until 2:00pm what the decision on visitations would be. That would be to late for me to get there in time to pay for the marriage license! They closed at 4:00. So... I drove 4 1/2 hours, signed and paid for the license, and finally got ahold of a person about the "decision". No visitation for Sonnys unit!!!! It still hasn't sunk in!! So I turned around and drove 4 1/2 hours home!! I walked in the door and the phone rang!! Sonny had some one call!! He kept saying, "Sonny says he's sorry and that he loves you!!" It just breaks my heart!! His friend said he told Sonny he better hurry up and marry me while I still wanted to, and Sonny told him it was him that wanted to marry me SO BAD!! The prison said they would postpone our wedding till next month. Arghh......seems that's my fovorite word lately! It fits how I feel!!:argh

I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm sure you are exhausted and disappointed. How wonderful Sonny was able to get someone to call, that should be a great comfort. Hang in there and it will work out.

The prison post poned it huh? I wonder how they would like their marriages post poned........

Thank you TxRenee, Mary and Joy! We'll get through it, I know we will! Just sometimes it all seems so overwhelming doesn't it? I know I just go through a small bit of what Sonnys going through and has gone through. Sometimes I feel so guilty for needing to vent, for whining!! Thanks for listening!

Enjay, I too am sorry to hear what happened. It is good that Sonny had someone call you at least let you rest a little easier knowing that he is thinking of you and all. It will be a real special wedding when it happens I am sure. Take pics if you are able to okay. Good luck to the both of you on your new marriage. Thanks everyone. I will keep you up to date on any happenings (if there are any!) Sonny got someone to call again last night just to say he loves me and misses me!! You have to love that!!
