I am getting married on November 1st at Western Missouri Correctional Center in Missouri. I was wondering if anyone had any information on the rules and regulations for weddings there? Can you wear a wedding dress? I'm not planning on anything real big and fancy, but i would like a nice white dress. This is the first time I've ever been married. I didn't think a bouqet would really be appropriate for a prison wedding but I was thinking I could have my mothers little bible with me that she got married with. Any info. anyone could offer me would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi Denise.

I got married at potosi correctional centre last year may.
get ready to get a lot off hasle girl.
they change the rules as the go along.
just match your dress to his visiting outfit so you wont stand out so much.
I am not telling you what to do ofcourse but when you get married in an acual wedding dress you could be the laughing stock of the guards and you won't want to give them that satishfaction.

Most prisons don't allowe flowers to bring in to the prison.
just put something in your hair.
nothing metal though because you can be refused access.
and then you have to do the mariage all over again and that is what they
are after.
