First I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year 2003.

This past September, the Late Patsy T. Mink introduced the possiblity of parole again for federal inmates. Unfortunuately this did not go anywhere. With all the changes occuring now with the states opting to release prisoners early, I do hope and pray this will be the signs of the times and mabey in our near future we cann all be giving such good news!

Please...if anyone hears anything new about this once congress gets back into the next session....post it!!! It will be important for us to act immediatly on such issues.....we are the ones who this means the most to since it directly affects us! There are many more of federal loved ones out here that we need to reach as well!

I hope and pray the New Year 2003 brings good fortune to us all! Keep it alive!!

Best wishes for a wonderful New Year to you also. I hope someone is going to reintroduce Mink's Bill, but the last time I checked there were no co-sponsers. I guess we need to find representatives who support changes in laws or who are interested in this particuliar bill. If I hear anything through the groups I belong to, I will post immediately.

I believe 2003 will MOST Definitely be a BETTER YEAR!

I just happened to be researching this today, I am getting involved in the petition you guys might want to do the same, you can go to www.November.org for more info...please check it out. IT could make all the difference in our lives.

Been there..done that...online and also printed a few pages off to send in! There are only 10 spaces per page...if we all just got 1 page full....it would help make the difference!

What we really need to do is find a person to re-introduce such a bill! Ofcourse with co-sponsers. It is not written to be retroactive...but I ahve been told once it gets moving...we could still get those changes!

I ahven't seen anything new on it....so please if you do hear anything let us know! We are the ones who can get this moving! Not our neighbors! LOL
