The quote above was from a movie that reminded me of my countdown until my baby (Daddy) comes home. No i'm not freakin out YET and i hope i don't, but i wanted to share these last thirty days of waiting with my peeps.

Daddy and my first anniversary is also this month on the 18th and we will celebrate that as well.

So "just in case" you are wondering how i'm doing... pop in and holla at ya girl. :) OK?

DAY 30

I'm missing my baby like crazy. He hardly writes and when he does write it is short. But i know he loves me and misses me as much as I he. He is stressed because the IPO person keeps losing his information and he is ready to come home. Suffice to say, I'm ready too. I prayed about all of that and left it in God's hands. All there is to do now is wait.

I've been eating like crazy as well. I'm trying to psych myself out so i won't wiegh 500 pounds when he gets here. Oh Lord it is a losing battle. Good thing he loves me anyway he can get me. ;) I am not vain at all and neither is he. Still yet, i vow to get more excercise for my health.

I've been feeling overwhelmned lately too. But Bible Study has helped and prayer always help. Now let me slide this day. God willing i will be back on the morrow.

MissOne girl you are one in a million and you know that we are going to go though the next 30 days with you!!!! Even if you start to panick but i'm sure you will not!!!!! Love ya!!!!

I'm starting to think this thread is not a good idea because it makes me count each day one by one. :) Nevertheless, it's going to be goods to look back at it when Daddy comes home and read it together.

All is well in my (free) world and i hope all is well in Daddy's. Still waiting to hear from him as usual but i know i will soon. All the maildancing has paid off because the scale says i have lost three pounds. WOO HOO!!!

It's Thursday and also the day i usually recieve a word from Daddy. I am so anxious to hear from him. I hope he doesn't dissapoint me. Y'all already know i have to go home for lunch to check the mailbox. :rolleyes:

I got a lil bad news :( which compels me to go to "H" town on Sunday. Soooooooo, since i am that way I might as well go a lil farther and see my baby. :p He will be so surprised because we planned for me not to visit anymore because the cost and miles are astronomical considering... So we shall see on that one.

Other than that, i'm doing good. I got a $h!t load of work on my desk and two pen pal letters to answer. This will probably be my last letter to them and it is really hard getting started on it. I will keep in touch with cards and such, but Daddy is not feeling anymore detailed letters. Moreover, i plan to be so wrapped up in him that i won't have the time for detailed letters.

Just popped in to read all the excitement going on with so many members men coming home this year. It is crazy awesome and i am glad about it. I hope we all have a Success Story to tell in the near and far future.

Of course i'm sitting here wishing i was with Daddy. :) Saturdays are harder because it's a visiting day and i know he is getting no mail. But we are with each other in spirit for now. These lil ole days ain't gone take too long at all. It's too much to do and too exciting. Yeah right. :ha: LOL I'm getting ready to go watch a movie or something. Girl where is the time going?????? Yeah I am very nervous, I was thinking back to when I had like 6 months and used to play games with my time and make it seem shorter than what it really was. I am shaking my head in disbelief because this time seems like a dream!! I really don't know where the time went!! Now just thinking about a few days from now I will actually have him walking out of those doors with me, just makes me cry.. Since i got up in the middle of the night i just had to pop in and look at my counter. When Daddy wakes up in the morning (if he is sleeping;)) he will be one more day closer to being in moma's arms. i didn't start tripping until i got the call i'm out...do you want to meet me at so and so....well, i was so excited...that i couldn't decide between my blue shirt or yellow...both the same style...that basic gap 3/4 sleeve button up, that you don't tuck in...i wore jeans...anyway...an hour later i finally was out the door i wore the yellow..he called, i said i couldn't decide which to wear...so we had to meet at another station closer to my house....well, i thought i'll go get the car washed.....then he called again...oh, i'm sorry baby i just got the car washed for you..i didn't realize you'd be at the so and so station already, ayyyyyyy, i'm laughing...so, he talked to me from the pay phone at the station until i drove past him...i see you baby turn left, no turn there....

and, then all of a sudden i saw him he hung up the phone and came running into the car.....i was the happiest gurl in the world...he looked so adorable...with his dimples and his bald head, and some horrible old prison clothes...all his clothes were at the rehab...(long story)...

oh, when you are in his arms alone...your going to die...it is so awesome..

i am waiting on the marriage just to see how he behaves for a while...but, so far things are bettter then i ever could have imagined..

Although my nephew burnt up the meat, the BBQ went well. . :( He tried so he gets an "A" for effort.. :) And I ain't trippin yet Amy. I'm in my room once again listening to some music. My baby may want a TV in here when he comes home. A BIG SCREEN would be nice huh? I'm going to try to get him one soon. ;)

As for these "men" up in here... they better get with the program. I'm trying to prepare them before hand, but experience is the best teacher. Nevertheless, if they don't know, they better ask somebody. Moreover, i think they will be trying to use him to get to me, because they know what Daddy says goes. It's his/my way or the highway. The main person we are concerned about is our 12 year old. His adjustment is of the utmost importance. He and Daddy have already met so i'm feeling everything being all good on that tip. We shall see. One can only hope for the best. Holla Back. ME :)

I'm sure there will be a period of adjustment that's only natural but with time, faith, love and patience I feel certain that you all will come out happy and healthy in the end.

HAPPY HUMP DAY PEOPLE!!! Almost another week down the drain again. All is well in my soul and it is only getting better. I have a song in my heart and a lil more pep in my step. The closer my baby gets the happier I become.

Hey Willsgirl & missmyhubby :) How y'all doing?

Yeah i'm still hanging and i soooooo appreciate you poppin in for a sister. I heard a little rumbling about my thread being too long but oh well... please keep checking on a sista K? I just got in from my sons (7th grade) football game and it gave me something else to smile about. I stored up so many memories in my heart. Next week i'm going to take a camera so i can store my memories in my photo album. Those little boys looked so cute in their uniforms. I had a hard time finding my child at first because they changed his number. I was looking for a number that didn't exist. :confused: So you can guess i was one of those mom's on the sidelines trying to talk to the players. But i found him. :D And although my baby did well, (he started too ;)) our team got thier axxes whooped BAD. :mad: It was a shut out. 27 - O Awwww :( I knew somebody had to loose, but it seems to me they lacked more and more spirit as each touchdown was made. I blame the coaches. It was CRAZY :eek: but it was FUN!!! I'll pep my baby up when the team gets back. They really shouldn't keep the children out this late, but that's another lil issue. I've went on enough and could type more, but i will cease on that tip.

As for Daddy :) I kept wishing he was there with my to cheer the team on. He love football and i'm sure watching them play would bring back some memories for him. And we can make some new ones for us in the process. I want to do everything with this man. I wonder if he would be telling me to calm down or if he would be on the sideline with me. :) They didn't have cheeerleaders (the other team did) so i need/needed all the help i can get. Atleast i had a FEW other parents who wasn't afraid to yell out with me. GO DRAGONS!!! GO DRAGONS!!! HOLD THAT LINE!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

LMAO I said i was done talking about that didn't I? Well... it just goes to show how excited i was to see my baby start in the season opener. I think he's a captain too. awwww :D Now i'm going to check a few threads before i go pick him up. When i get back, i'll feed him and then i'm going to bed to dream about my baby. Greetings people. I'm up early again preparing for that great day. I plan to be there early to get my baby. ;) All is well this morning and i am blessed.

Patty love is so grand it is like a fairy tale for real. The closer the time comes the higher i get. It is a beautiful thing we have here with each other and i consider us all blessed to be a part of it. Big shout out to FED X once again. And big shout out to you for poppin in on a sister. 20 lil ole days. WOO HOO!!! I hope i get my letter today too. ;)

Well I made it to work safely and i am still blessed. It is so many drivers on the road this morning acting crazy that i thank God i made it here alive, which is somehting i have been taking for granted. Not anymore.

Today i will be (God Willing) enjoying lunch with my daughter. She's driving. ;) It is good for them and me to spend some alone time with each child. Quality time is so important in a relationship and although i will fall off a little ;) i don't want them to think i'm going to fall all the way off when Daddy gets home. I was blessed unexpectedly so i decided i would bless my baby with lunch. We're going to Bakers Bros. They have this chicken sandwich that she would die for. j/k :ha: I would die for their chicken salad.

Don't have too much work on my desk, but i have enough. When i get home i hope to recieve my weekly letter so i can spend the rest of the day in "La LA Land" with my baby. All the time I find myself wondering what he is he doing? How is he feeling? Did he get an answer yet about his parole plan? I know I know... patience is a virtue.

For some reason they are back to running mail slow, seems like they start doing their job then all the sudden the stop again, I know Will didnt get any of the mail I sent him last week, he was all poutting when his mom went to see him, saying he didnt get anything from me, but I work him about 3 or 4 letters that week. Texas cant stay on top for nothing. Hope you get a letter tomorrow, hope I have one waiting for me when I get home :)

I hope so too willsgirl. i tell myself not to worry, but that still does not stop my disposition from changing. i start feeling anxious and that makes me cranky. But you know we are going to hear from them because they are thinking about us just like we are thinking about them. HEY!!! Some peoples need to get on thier job and get me my word from my baby. :)

I'm up early this day with the biggest grin on my face because i am finally in my teens. :D WOO HOO!!! 19 more days people. 19 more days and my baby will be home. I had a dream that his family showed up at the unit to take him home when he was released and i was trying to tell them that HE SAID he is going home with me. He never came out to decide before i woke up. But what i do know is that I felt confident that i was right and they were wrong. Who told them what day he was getting out anyway is what i want to know. LMAO Good Morning People :)

Willsgirl i asked Daddy that question and he said he don't want to write no more letters. He wants to be right here, in person, up close. :) But i am sure if i ask Daddy for one of those "come on baby letters", that he would whip me something up fa' sho. Another milestone. YAY!!!

I didn't get my letter today, but oh well. I have been asleep dang near the whole day. Now I'm going to go watch a DVD with my son and find us something to eat. I don't know what's up with the mail, but i will be checking it faithfully on Monday. I'm thinking maybe my baby doesn't want to write until he has the final word, which would hopefully be the good news i am waiting for saying that his parole plan to D'town is APPROVED!!! Time is getting close and they need to hurry up so he (and I) can quit thinking about that "lil" issue.

Now y'all ain't gone even try to tell me that yesterday did not pass quickly. Then too, i think i slept it away. My nephew cooked a big breakfast this morning while i read "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". It was very insightful. My daughter didn't want to go with me to church and i don't like going by myself, so here i am. ;) I felt led to read the book because it has been on my shelf for months and i'm attempting to GET READY!!! The book help me to see that men generally go into thier cave when they are stressed vs. women like to talk. (i knew that LOL) It talked about women's "bottom of the well" experiences, etc. Basically i have gained a better understanding of the type of communication that is going on in my relationship. Bottom line: We are going to be OK. Daddy when you read this i want you to know that i need you, trust you, i am here for you, and i support you in whatever you are going through. Hope to hear from you soon.

Well another day has come and gone and that puts Daddy one more day closer to being with his lady. ME!!! :D Got a late start this morning, but i am bright eyes and bushy tailed now. Life is good and i am blessed. Now if i can only get that letter i'm waiting on, i will be straight. BUt i know Daddy will come with it sooner or later. ;) Hopefully sooner. :) Ok back to work.

HEY!!! :D Today is another BIG CHILLER DAY (KOBE;)). Rona, after i pick up my son from football i'm going home to put my feet up. And Kace Daddy just wrote me talking about he can't wait to taste my lips when he comes through those gates. Well I'm back and it is not good news. I can barely see the screen through my tears but i just wanted to let you all know the countdown is over. :cry: I don't know when my baby is coming home. I just got off the phone with Daddy's IPO person and she states that there has been a problem with my baby's paperwork. And although she re-entered the information as we were speaking, it will still take two weeks to be approved. She also states that October 1st is/was his "projected" release date and that he may be there until the end of October. My baby is going to be tore up when hears this. :cry: He has been counting down just like i have. I will go to see him on Saturday to (try to) make it all better but this ish hurts like hell. :cry: I guess that's why i wasn't on edge huh? I could not force myself to get excited until they told me what time to pick my baby up. When i get down to 16 days again i'll be back. Until then... I'm out. :cry:

I pray that my baby is released when he thinks he will be.

Thank you so much for checkin on a sister. I can not believe it took me this long to get my bearings. I didn't want to see my counter, but i did read the e-mail responses. Now that i've sat here, I tried to change my counter, but i could not. To even think of adding another 30 days was funny. It wasn't funny yesterday. When i read this post yesterday it did not jump off the page. But tonight when i came across this "mustard seed faith", my own faith grew ten times. HANG IN THERE GIRL!!! GOOD MORNING AMY :)

The final countdown is still happening. Daddy IS coming home. I hope to hear from him again soon to know where we stand. I was thinking about all the people who shuffle his paperwork around in thier cozy little offices that go home to thier families while the inmates wait for them to do thier jobs. I think there should be a policy that all employees spend a night in jail so they would be more compassionate on thier job. These men should not stay in the belly of the beast ONE DAY more than neccesary. But surely this is not the case. To God be the glory when He works this out. So we're letting go and letting God.

It is good to have you here continually counting with me. Come what may i admire your faith and support. Amy up early as usual. :) SPYDA checking in is awesome. :D You know i pray your strength. the bad news is that i just got a call from Daddy's Dad saying my baby may not be able to parole to D'town. I'm getting on the phone first thing in the morning to find out what's going on. Dad is going to be on the phone as well.

Still yet, Daddy IS coming home and we will deal with come what may together. Tomorrow is not ours, it is the Lord's. If i have to move to H'town, then so be it. :)

But THIS IS the final countdown people. When October hits if he is not out it will only be a matter of time. But we are keeping the faith that it will be sooner than later.

I just got off the phone with the parole board and learned that Dallas has not been ruled out and there is no reason to think it should be. Another day has come and gone and that means i am one more day closer to being with my baby. YAY!!!! How y'all doing? :D I'm doing good. Today is another BIG Jr. High Football Game and my son is excited. I hope they win. So today i will be on the field cheering like i'm watching the pros. YAY!!!

Hey Contrary :) Daddy is trying to get an address in Houston just in case the DOC decides for "some reason" to deny his parole plan to Dallas. It had not been denied as of yesterday and at this point we are still hoping for the best (dallas). :) If not,:( he will be almost four hours away. In any case i will still pick him up at the gates and spend as much time with him as possible before i have to come back home. And you already know ALL my weekends thereafter will be spent in Houston if they don't let Daddy come to D'town.

As for me, today is another BIG CHILLER DAY. :D as opposed to yesterday.
We were up late yesterday. After my sons game we went for pizza and then watched "Law & Order" until late. BTW, my son's team lost again. They got their hineys whooped bad. 56-0 But i was still cheering for my baby like he was the baddest thing on the field. I sat on the other teams side because they had shade. Shoot, it's hot in TX :). Neway, my son missed a pass and this boy says #88 is sorry. I said HEY, that's my baby, he ain't sorry. A few plays later my son caught the ball and i was on my feet tellin 'em, "I told y'all my baby wasn't sorry,I told y'all ". And when my son realized my other son was with me he started showing out (playing harder). The other team was going for another touchdown but my son took that other kid down. :) YEAH BABY!!! In y'all face. :D Although, I think next time i better sit on my own teams side. ;) Sorry for the long post but i had to share that.

Tonight it is ALL NEW SMALLVILLE, which is one of my favorite TV shows. For those who don't know it is Superman as a teenager. Hopefully i get a letter so i can spend some time tonight with my baby. I'm going to write him one of those come on baby letters that he (and I) loves. As for now it is back to work. Happy Hump Day People. I am one more day closer to being with my baby. I'll holla :)

That's what "they" want us to do. :( I'm praying my baby is released 10/1 like he is supposed to be, but the DOC says he can be released anytime AFTER 10/1. UGH!!! So whenever those fat cats get off thier butts and get my baby's parole plan accepted he will be home. So honestly Contrary, I STILL really just don't know. Nevertheless, i pray for the best without ceasing... resting in the fact that my baby and I will deal with come what may together.

Rona my evening was good. Today will prayerfully be the same. My nephew has to take my mercedes to go to his job as soon as i get home so i couldn't do anything if i wanted too. So Big Chiller is chillin once again. I have not heard from my baby yet, but Thursday is when i usually do, so i'm hoping for the best. And honey this thread does not bar none so say what you gotta say. OK? :D NEway, just recently I was thinking about how my hair was going to be when i swoope my baby up. I know Daddy likes it down, but that hairstyle will only last for one day if I play my cards right. ;) Maybe a hard rollerset will suffice. As for the nails... NO LEE PRESS ON'S for Moma. Contrary you haven't forgotten... it is like riding a bike or driving a car. Once you get in the seat and take off, it all comes back to you. :) And all men are different, some may have a problem at first some may not. Most important is reassure your honey that you love him and you both will work through whatever issues come up... or don't come up. :o LOL for as long as it takes. And if visits are any indication of what's to come, I am sure Daddy will have NO PROBLEMS in that area. ;)

Willsgirl Daddy is goig to make me hurt him for real if he doesn't write me. Because he sure is hurting me. I am tired of going throught his no mail ish. I've begged, pleaded, bargained, cried, not written... all for what? to get a few letters and then go right back to step one. I know my baby is stressed and i need to be there for him so i try to keep writing and encouraging him, but my heart just can't take this. I read an old letter i typed a long time ago and it was talking about "please write". If this is any indication as to what the future holds, I ain't even feeling it. Daddy said :) He has been stressed because he was told his plan was denied. I am SO glad i called to get the 411. He said when he got my letter letting him no what was going on he felt better. They should have better communications in there instead filling out I60's and ish. NEway, Rona you are so right that "they" feed off of our emotions. The same goes for the "fat cats" on the phone. When i call them in reference to my baby i am as sweet as pie (Godly love) and therefore they talk to me with the utmost respect and try to help. The guy at the halfway house acted like he wanted to trip a little, but God touched his heart and he is going to do what i need him to do first thing Monday morning. "YAY!!! :fb: But i'm getting ahead of myself.

Daddy said, LOL :) He is coming home. He sent me all the numbers i need to call this one and that one and y'all i'm telling you... It looks good. I called the DPO in Angleton and got the number to the DOP in Dallas because the callee said this was the office where he is supposed to report. :D YAY Now i have to get the owner of the halfway house to call the DPO so the plan can be approved. Moreover, as much as i want my baby home, the owner wants to fatten his pockets, so i am sure he will have his ducks in a row. (*cliche':))

So people, i think it is time to get crunk. Daddy is coming home. :) I'm not going to rush God, but i am going to continue to count and continue to make those calls. I love my baby. Now i got to holla back at him straightway. So i'm out again. Holla. :)

I love waking up in the morning and knowing it's closer. Funny how we play games with the time. For instance, this morning I call it 11 days left, but by later in the day I'll start callin it 10 days left LOL either way it's gettin danged close for Missone and for me too. My baby is supposed to come home Friday. SUPPOSED is the key word in that sentence. I tried to have faith in his release but the it's just not going to happen like that. I'll be on the phone first thing i the morning trying to hurry things along but there is a process and procedures must be followed.

Still yet... we do know Daddy is coming home REAL SOON.

I went to church today and the message was entitled, "Forced To Your Knees". Bottom line: When i am forced to my knees, God is putting me into position to birth whatever seed He has planted in me. :D Yeah the delivery may be hard, but the end result is well worth the pain.

Now figuratively speaking, this baby seems to not want to come, but we know it is coming, so i'm going to relax and be still and know. So peeps... we are going to STOP COUNTING at day 5, until the baby starts crowning (i.e. parole plan approved).

My biggest concern now is they will release my baby during my "down time". It is going to be so hard not being with my baby if that's the case. But oh well... NOW... as for me, believe it or not i got a surprise letter from Daddy. :thumbsup: YAY!!! :D I was so happy to get a word from my baby unexpectedly. :p He is anxious to come home and he is starting to trip. :o For those of you who don't know, my baby chose to come to Dallas to be with me and live in a halfway house instead of going to the comforts of home in Houston at his families crib. Now it seems to me he thinks his choice to do so is hindering his release and he is taking it out on me. Lord Jesus i am concerned that if this parole plan is not granted it will be hell on earth for our relationship. He wrote me a hot lil note talking about his freedom is important and i better not be playing no games with his $h!t. I can not believe how busy the devil is getting with Daddy and I. Well... yes i can. It only leads me to believe that something GREAT is about to happen and the devil wants to put a stop to it at all cost. But y'all better know i will not allow that too happen. I wanted to write him a hot "f-u" note back, but i KNOW the devil is busy and i rebuke him and any unclean spirits he is sending our way.

The Lord is telling me to ARISE, for OUR TIME HAS COME. The devil better recognize and take his hands off my man and me and our lives. Latina (Patty) and everyone else... Please pray our strength as we go through.

When I was posting sickofprisons reminded me to call them (halfway house) again. I finally got them and made sure they were on thier job. After lunch i recieved a call saying it was a done deal. A field rep still has to come out but it is just a formality. He has probaly been there already. (I will call back tomorrow and the next day as well. :) Now Daddy has to be certified, cut processed, transferred and finally RELEASED. How long all that takes i don't know, so it is still up in the air for definit pick-up. but i will be calling every step of the way. NO ONE is going to let his papers sit on there desk if me calling has anything to do with it. I gotta get my baby out of there. It's time for Daddy to come home. I am not stressing and that is a GOOD THING. I hope these steps i'm writing help the next person because these people know they have me going.

Yeah sickofprisons i am trying to do my thang. This morning is a slow one but HAPPY HUMP DAY NEWAY. :-) I'm going to make a few calls and read a few threads and i guess do a lil work. My back hurts because i slept wrong after i was up half the night reading about men on the "down low". I kept telling myself, NOT MY BABY!!! But i prayed about it anyway. Then i start thinking what if the tests we took were wrong. You know I love my baby too much to put him in jeopardy. Hence i'm going to suggest we get tested periodically just in case. Sex isn't the only way to get HIV you know. And for all of you who say you would rather not know because there is no cure... you will fair better if you are detected early than waiting until you have full blown AIDS. I'm not trying to alarm anyone...well yes i am, but I just told my pastor about my man coming home and she surmises that because of the "statistics", we "women in waiting" woud be wise to get tested/fools to not get tested, get our men tested and practice safe sex until we get the results (not her exact words). Better safe than sorry HUH?

Well the house he was out was straight in the middle of the hood.

But it was a nice big clean house, they have a big porch for visitors to sit and visit.
A living room with a big screen and couches.

They have a cook 5 days a week. When he first got there after work I would drive down to visit him till 9 p.m. and the cook would always have dinner for me and our daughter.
It’s a lot like jail just no guards with guns. He has to fill out an itenerey every day. Even while he is on home confinement now.
After he started job search they gave him 24-hour pass home. Once he started work they let him come home on the weekends for 48. Plus you can go see him during the week. (Maybe different there)
He did not like it though the people there really got on his nerves. He was always felling like they were testing him.

Someone attempted to still some scented shower jail from him. He made such a commotion that who ever took it put it back in his room when he was home on pass.

No locks are allowed, can’t have mouth wash or arisoel cans (alcohol) they checked the laundry liquid soap I had brought him.
He was there for 1 month and 3 weeks. He was suppose to be they’re for 6 months.
He has to pay them 25% of his earnings; even still that he is not there till the 6 months is up.

Now that he is home he has to be in the house by 9 p.m. and still let them know where he plans on being through the course of the day if he is not working.
And if he doesn’t put that on his itinerary he could be in trouble if they find out other wise. He has to check in with them 3 times a day and they call on him around 9pm.
He has to there 2 times a week, which is a pain in the but. 45 min drive and its on the week days and they want him there between 4-6 p.m. well I don’t get off until 530.
One of the directors told him well if this going to be a problem maybe you need to come back to the house!
He told me the only reason he took the halfway house was for us (family)
I could go on and on too. But this is a good start right?
Yall are in Texas though so who knows how they will be?
Plus I’m sure there is a difference in program structures for state and federal half way houses that they go by ya know.
Sorry I hope I haven’t scared you just keeping it real.

But......... You know what though. To me its still better then where he was at 1900 miles away. And on the bright side its not forever, if he could do 11 he (we) can do 6 months not even that long.

Ram that was awesome and you are not scaring me at all. I'm going to do whatever it takes to hold it down. My baby doesn't HAVE to be in a halfway house. He CHOSE to do this for the same reason as your man... our family. My children are excited about Daddy coming home as well and I am sure with all of us combined trying to help Daddy come up, we will be fine. Another plus is that all though in the hood, i know the area and I am familiar with the people who own the place. Only thing i can forsee is having to deal with all the paper work and reporting and curfews the PO wants place on US. But it is RIDE or DIE. And you already know i want to RIDE. :D

Yeah I'm doing pretty good. Resting in the fact that atleast he is coming to D'town has lifted my spirits. I thought i would get a letter today so i know one is coming soon. I'm going to try to stay real busy tomorrow because i don't want to keep focusing on I'm "supposed" to be picking up my baby. Hence i will be on the phone first thing Monday morning calling whomever I can to inquire about my man.

Lord Jesus I pray he can hold it down. He has probably sent in 1,000 I-60's trying to find out what's up. But like Latina said... these men are coming home.

Calls this morning reveal that my baby's plan was approved in the system on yesterday. :) The callee states that the certification process can take 2 weeks. And the cut process can take up to 21 days. This $h1t is actually funny. There is no way in heck that i can see this process taking that long. This is absolutley maddening. My baby is going to go slap bad if they DON'T cut him loose soon. I'm going to have to go see him if they don't hurry up. I got another number to call. Maybe they will tell me something better. :thumbsup:

Yeah, I'm hanging in there. Still no letter, but i continue to write. I passed my HIV?AIDS test with flying colors. YAY!!! :) ALthough i KNEW :wink: i would, for some reason i felt uncomfortable waiting on the results. They have a test now where you can get the results in 20 minutes because so many people take the test and don't come back for the results. GO FIGURE :rolleyes: :confused:

Well Today i went to get my nails and feet done. :thumbsup: They are so pretty. :D Now i'm going to bed. MajicLady said it could take three weeks (for real) for Daddy to come home so i am just killing time doing ME. And time is flying too. It is already the fifth, huh. I'm praying my baby comes out by the 15th or 20th. WE SHALL SEE.

I finally got a letter from my baby yesterday or before. He is doing much than his last letter therefore i am better. When one of us is upset we both seem to be. I haven't made any calls to (TDCJ) again. I'm just waiting. I'll check for a word again on Monday.

Sickofprisons I don't know about the FEDS, but Daddy will not know (if i don't tell him), until he is told to bag and baggage (i.e. pack it up). Last time he sent in an I60 to get the 411 they told him he was denied and he was staright trippin (on me :eek: :). So we are just going to roll with my phone calls and wait for him to walk out that gate. Oh what a "glorious day" that will be. We will finally get a chance to see if fairy tales can come true.

also my husband knew someone who was suppose to get out in september. when the certificate was printed, it only took seven (7) days for him to be AT his HOUSE. so hopefully since Daddy certificate is printed he will be home by October 18, 2004, Monday!

Missone Are you going to call the unit tomorrow to see if Daddy was on the chain? Might be a good sign if you called and they said he was not there anymore... Just an idea!!!

I hear you KACE. That is why for the most part i have been BIG CHILLIN. I paid my son to thoroughly clean my room today w/ Pine-Sol and i'll "make them" clean the rest of the house as well. At work i try to keep mysellf caught up so i won't stress over what needs to be done. Basically I go to work and go home. If i have something else to do i schedule one activity a day. As far as people go... i just let them know, you are not going to stress me out with this and that and to be blessed.

The kids are talking about black-mailing me when Daddy gets home, but i ain't trippin. My life is an open book. I went from a funeral ,right into the hospital to have my tubal reversal done..... And gladly it was completed!!! I am in alot of pain and have been on alot of pain medication ;) I have not forgotten about my ace :) I am just here recuperating and praying for ya!! I just finished reading this book I have had on my shelf for weeks. It was about using your faith to help with weight loss. It was very good and made me ponder on a lot of issues I deal with. It has also made me want to run out and buy some fruit and healthier foods. :D

Moreover the book was powerful because it was speaking to me in reference to other areas in my life. I had to stop and think many times throughout reading the passages. All the references to waiting and patience hit home as far as what God is doing in my life at this time. I thanked God for prompting me to read it when I needed it. I pray that I ponder my reason for my actions BEFOREAND and not so much afterwards. It was a really good book.

I also got to thinking that I was not in the "waiting room". The scenario looks like this.
Daddy was in the waiting room but his name has been called. Now he is in the examination room waiting for the doctor to come in. The only catch is he is not allowed to play with or touch any of gadgets in the office (i.e. bandages, cotton balls, tongue depressers, etc.). He has to sit perfectly still and look at the wall until the doctor comes in. If they catch him messing around he will be kicked out of the office and locked in the basement. All the while i am in the car waiting watching the clock and patting my foot looking for him to hurry up and come out.

Soooooo, as you can see, you probably do need to be watching me. My mind just takes off sometimes and where it goes is anybody's guess.

I can barely type this out but i need to let you all know what's going on.

Another member told me her man is coming home and her man's certificate was printed after mine. So i get on the phone to find out what's up and was given another number to call after i let them know how long we have been waiting. This rude ass man gets on the phone and tells me there is a hold on my baby's certificate now because the halfwayhouse he is going too is not under thier contract so further investigation is needed even though there are other men already in the house. :angry:

NO there is nothing i can do or anyone else. :( It is on thier list to be investigated and it might be next week or the week after before they will release the hold off the certificate. :cry: Then i still have to wait for a release date to be issued after that. I bet if "they" spent a night or two in prison they would be a bit more expeditious in there work. :rolleyes:

I can't believe this is happening. Daddy is not writing, they won't let him go and i'm about to completely loose it. I'm trying to plan a visit this weekend, but i'm still not sure. I'll let you all know what's up in a feww weeks. Until then... I'm Out.

I feel like i have too. My son has to work so i'm going to pay my nephew $20 to help me drive. I'm sure he would do it for free if i pressed, but what the hell... he's a good nephew and he has that coming already.

I just seen my baby. He looked real good to me. He showed a lot of strength and i got a small Daddy fix. :p I'm ready to turn right back around and go pick him up. :confused:

KOBE visit went well although I almost got into an accident driving in the rain and could of torn up my Cedes. :mad: It's a long story so i have to tell you over the phone.

NEway, my baby is waiting everyday to catch the chain up out that piece so i know it won't be too much longer. ;) One thing more interesting than my near miss incident is an uncanny "coincidence" that occured. Being that i don't believe in coincidences i need to run this pass you all.

My baby was telling me about the mess he is dealing with in that.... :rolleyes: hellhole of a prison, and he said he was made to face the wall for an 8 hour period less ten minute breaks every hour, for days on end. :rolleyes: There was no talking, no tv and restricted movement. That's a hell of a time out ain't it? :eek: Don't ask me the purpose of that lil exhibition, but what i find ironic is that i just made up a story about Daddy being made to look at the wall just recently at the same time it was actually occuring. Lord knows i have not heard from Daddy in weeks and have definitely never heard of grown men being made to face the wall. I tripped on that. Here is the post below from 10/19/04.

... NEway, i did think it was uncanny how the book was entitled after my favorite ice cream. And that i chose to read it at the time i did. And that it will probably turn out to be my favorite book.

I also got to thinking that I was not in the "waiting room". The scenario looks like this.
Daddy was in the waiting room but his name has been called. Now he is in the examination room waiting for the doctor to come in. The only catch is he is not allowed to play with or touch any of gadgets in the office (i.e. bandages, cotton balls, tongue depressers, etc.). He has to sit perfectly still and look at the wall until the doctor comes in. If they catch him messing around he will be kicked out of the office and locked in the basement. All the while i am in the car waiting watching the clock and patting my foot looking for him to hurry up and come out.
Soooooo, as you can see, you probably do need to be watching me. My mind just takes off sometimes and where it goes is anybody's guess.

Finally.....good things are about to happen. i am so excited for you that i keep having to use the backspace from trying to type so fast. let me go ahead and say congratulations. they printed mike certificate on a tuesday and believe me when i tell you they had a date by thursday. only took them two days and they said anywhere from 3-21. girl and he will be home thursday the whole process took them nine days to do everything and that includes him being at home.

girl so hopefully daddy will be home by the end of the week. i am truly happy for you....maybe i will see you in huntsville on thursday.:thumbsup:

The lady from PTO got her release date on 10/21 (three days after the certificate was issued 10/19) and she goes to pick him up on Thursday (10/28). Now that your certificate is off hold (10/25), I think you should be outta there by next week and leaving the Walls around Nov. 3rd. It’s really a shame that they would let you sit there for an indefinite amount of time had I not called . It is good to have someone in your corner when you are on lockdown for that very reason.

OMG, Missone! I've been out sick and offlline almost all week, and couldn't wait to get back and hear the details of 1) Daddy's homecoming or at least 2) the definite release date! I'm tearing my hair out here!! It's like the world's most drawn-out cliffhanger!! Well, I guess things do happen for a reason, so maybe he'll be out on a day when everything comes together: the bananas will be perfectly ripe for the pudding, it will be the "right" time of the month, and maybe even the weather will be nice so he can trot around in one of those short sets without freezing anything off! :D

Congratulaions regarding the certificate. A date is forth coming.

Way to go. If you don't stay on their behinds, they will leave our loved ones behind.

My friend received notice in March 04 that he would be paroled; however, they did not provide a date b/c he needed to take a urine. His urine sample had been scheduled but no one told him. Others were being released who received notice after him. He inquired, no one knew anything.

He ran into a gurad that he had a rapport w/ and he took him immediately to have the urine done. Once that was done, and the results returned, he was given a date. If he did not inquire, he would still be sitting there.

I tell you, when you are involved w/ somone in the prison system, you develop great/transferable skills. i.e., investigation, patience, tolerence, determination, etc. There is no field that we can not enter, b/c we've been prepared to handle anything.

Again, best wishes and we can't wait to here your now that he is home feedback in the now that he is home forum.

Girl i am SO prepared already. My baby's release is long overdue. Only thing to do is a lil cleaning at the crib, maybe get my hair and nails done and get the oil changed in the Cedes. I probably would be going banana's if we didn't have so much nonsense with his release, but right now i'm just happy to finally have a date.

My boss didn't trip on me being off because i think she could tell i was going no matter what she said. I'm a little restless at night, but once i fall asleep i sleep like a baby. :) Check on me again next week ;)
