Boy do I feel pretty stupid:o right about now. I got a letter from my husband today. He just transfered to middleton unit from county tuesday. It took three days for me to get his letter. What I am kinda mad about, the lady who told me at TDC what his address was at middleton, she told me that it was 13055 sm 3522 I have already since Thursday mailed out 5 letters. The correct address is 13055 FM 3522. Don't think he will be getting my letters anytime soon. I guess I was so excited about finding out where he was I didn't quite hear her right, even though I had her repeat it twice. Oh well, I will send out his letter tomorrow to the right address. :cool: Jeanne

the same thing happened to me this week. when my gf was transferred from county to prison i called every day until they could give me a CDC # for her. and when i got it the officer neglected to tell me the entire address, so all the letters, stamps, post cards, greeting cards i sent that first day will not reach her for at least a month. as it is, im told it takes 2 weeks for mail with the correct addy to get to the inmates. :angry:
