hi pto family i have a issue my guy has not wrote a letter in almost two weeks i don't know why :confused: i'm getting worry he is usually prompt about writing back :rolleyes: the deal is he suppose get transferr to usp in atlanta but we don't know when i don't know if that why how long to it take them to write after they transferr i don't think he know the address and phone by hard because i jus moved:blah: has this ever happen the longest he hasn't write is three weeks because he tranferr from another jail :banghead:

Can you call the facility and just asked if he's been transferred.

I've stalked my mail man too, so don't worry about that one!

Don't worry I would just call the place that he was at and ask if he got transfer and to where. Then if he got tranfered I would just write to him. Sometimes when they first get tranfered it takes awhile for them to be able to write. I wouldn't worry too much girl.

Yep, I agree, call the prison, don't make yourself nutty!! I haven't gotten any mail either...I am fit to be tied, and I would ring his ever loving neck... IF I COULD VISIT!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....I am tooooo far away........LOL

well i call the usp in leavenworth and they said that he is still there so he better have a letter in this week or he going to get it big time:p they told me they can;t tell when he tranferr because of secuity reason i won't know until he get there that sucks but as far as bop concern he still is in kansas so i'm still waiting maybe he's out of stamps :angry: for his sake it better be a reason:confused:

To find out when he's transfered, you just have to keep calling and asking if he's still in custody there. I bugged the heck out of my baby's last jail. They were happy when they were able to tell me that he had been moved to his rehab because that ment I would stop calling everyday. But as for him not writing, he might be out of paper. when my man was first arrested and waiting for commisarry, I would write him letters ending with the last few sentances at the top of a piece of paper and he would just rip my part off and use the rest for his paper. He always got somone to donate an envelope and a pen....just an idea for when your man runs out of paper.

LOL, i stalk the mail man too!!! dont worry it could be several reason's as to why he hasn't wrote you. i recently had the same problem with my bf. he was transferred to a different jail, and it took him 2weeks to write me and he didnt call me either. come to find out..he couldnt call or write until he got settled in and everything plus he had no money on his account yet to call or buy stamps and stuff.

so just hang in their, he'll call/write soon.

As a letter carrier on a residential route, i can tell you it gets pretty lonely out there...we love to visit and chat when we have time...have a cold glass of water or a hot cup of coffee when we get to your house and we definately wont mind being stalked. i know my customers really well coz i have been on my route for 5 years... i know whose expecting what and when and will signal from the street if i have what they are waiting for (ie checks, tletters from loved ones in the service or incarcerated). I know there are SOME ornery letter carriers out there, but most of us love our jobs and our customers.

so dont feel bad about stalking us, as long as you understand its not our fault you dont get what you are waiting for..we work really hard to get the mail to our customers, too bad the new automated machines and the bosses make it jarder to do that, rather than help us...

I'm waiting on some mail - my mail person's getting to know me really well:p

Okay, my mailman is safe too! I got a letter from my honey! It was the only thing in my mailbox! It's made my day!:D

I too was stalking the mail man :) And well today was the day...he actually had something for me....my long awaited letter...it's been almost three weeks since I've gotten mail from him...maybe I'm spoiled but usually I get two letters a week...seemed very out of character to go for so long with nothing :( And I was really starting to lose it...my mind was playing games with me ;)

All is well....*phew*

My poor mail carrier!!! Everyday I come home on my lunch break and eat at home...just to get the mail!!! It dosent get any worse then that!!!

Royal mail have upset me though - they've widened my mailman's round and now he cant do it all before he has to be back at the depo at 2 (he starts at 6) - so now we only get deliveries every other day.....:blah:
