Thanks for this, Cali...I know lots of folks are usually crunched for time, and have no choice but to hit that drive-thru! At least it helps to know there are healthier options....

One word....... SUBWAY!!!!
I have found my personal favourite sub there, and not only because I know it is healthy, but it is so darn yummy too. I get the same thing every time, a 6 inch veggie, with every vegetable except olives, ( eeww, olives! ) They have 6 sanwiches with under 6 grams of fat, and around 200-300 calories. That makes a great meal!! It is just as fast as McDonalds, or Del Taco, and dosen't come with an extra pound for your scale! What a deal!!

what about sushi??? you can get sushi for the same price you would pay for a big mac meal!! sushi is also a wonderful choice, for those who like sushi. also a pint of steamed veggies from the chinese food place. do without the white rice or fried rice and the egg roll. many chinese food places also offer brown rice now. but i would suggest them giving you a smaller size box for the rice. instead of the 8 ounce why not the 4. a little soy sauce and hot mucstard on the side and your good to go!! and how filling is that!

You can take a Taco Bell soft taco and add lots of extra salsa and lettuce because salsa and lettuce have almost no calories and definitely no fat.

I have really been wondering about Taco Bell. Is the soft shell better than a crunchy taco?

I also eat KFC chicken breast and leg with mashed potatoes and gravy. I pull the skin off the chicken and throw it away which saves 150 calories. I don't eat the biscuit either.

I love all of the Subway lowfat options. Most of the 6 inch subs are less than 300 calories (minus the mayo & oil, of course).

subway is also a great choice. there veggie delight is wonderful!!!
