Thanks for the great find Denise...I'm sure there is alot of info here we can use that our loved ones either don't want to ask or they refuse to bother telling them.
Can't wait to read alot of it and see most of it is under review. But it's a long time coming!

Are prisons in Alabama air-conditioned?

All Alabama prisons have a heating system, but only the prison hospital and mental health units have air conditioning.

HEAT????? first i've heard of it...

Hi,
I am posting this for a friend who has a cousin just sent to Bibbs. How can she find out how much time he got? Does Alabama have a web site you go to,? For inmates name, and see there release date? He was just sent to Bibb last week.
Thanks

Hey guys. I just wanted to post something that might help our loved ones. If we all write a letter to our congressman, senator, commissioner of DOC, regarding the inhumane treatment of leaving these people in prisons that are not air conditioned and have temperatures in excess of 120 degrees in the dorms, they will have to acknowledge that there is a problem. We keep hearing on the news about how we are supposed to be taking care of our pets, who is taking care of the prisoners? Yes, they might be prisoners, but they still are entitled to humane treatment. Are they to be treated worse than animals? Help me out by writing you congressman and anyone else you can think of.
