Hi there my guys is getting a transfer to cal men colony in san louis Obispo I was wondering if anyone has the scoop on visiting motels and what you can wear. I would apperciate any thing you can tell me about that prison. I am going to miss all of my friends up there at SVSP. I might be able to get in one more visit before he go's. thank you

Hi Beth! Kay is right, SVSP is getting bad. At least you won't have as far to travel. I think it's about an hour and a half less travel time, which is good for you. I haven't been going up for a while. Long story. I've got to get to work on getting the word out on Prop 66. If we're lucky, it will pass in November and maybe we won't have to deal with this mess anymore. Wouldn't that be great?

Well there are plenty of Motels There! There are two motel 6's next door to each other very clean and reasonable about 60 bucks. That motel is about 15 min from the prison, there are some more a little closer but the pay for them is a little higher!! But I stay at the Motel 6 all the time.

As far a dress goes, I have been to SVSP once and I think the dress there was a little more lax then at CMC. You cant wear any hooded jackest or sweaters, no jeans of blue denim, you can wear other colors, black white and stuff. No extremly tight pants, no low cut tops, pretty much your basic stuff, oh no underwire bras, you can take in $30.00, the food well when I went to SVSP, some guy had brought in like wings and stuff, well CMC doesnt have that. Just vending machine food. If he is not on Closed custody, you all can go to the main outside patio, its very nice you can walk around, if not that have a inside patio you can go on. They have picture duckets that you buy when you check in with your pass, they are $2.00 each.
Oh the only thing about CMC, is the processing. If you have a handicapp sticker you may park in the first two rows of parking usually you get in the front, if not you muct park in the back of the lot and when the guard says the gate house is open please line up, I swear its like being in Kindergarten all over again!!!! But you gotta run to get in line but dont run!!! You will get in trouble!!! Umm thats all I can really think of now, if you need any more just let me know I am a regular up there! Just PM me.

When is he moving up there?

If you get there early enough you get number, then you can come back and get in line where ever you number goes. I think it's one of the better prisons my babe has gone to. Be safe because it's a long drive and have a good visit.

thanks everyone I am not sure when it will happen but looking forward to it. and yes it is getting real there at SVSP. the last time i was there we waited in line at 1:oo and got a pass of 21. and the lockd downs are crazy. getting worse every day. REG can not wait to leave. Iam going to miss all of my good friends I have met there. and I am sure I will meet new ones from PTO like Candy and Nancy.
