I just wanted to let you all know that when I asked Robert to write down a few words about his prison life, what its like for him in there, etc, he REALLY jumped on the idea. In fact, he has decided to write about his whole life history, leading up to him being where he is now. So, the last time I talked to him, he had 10 pages done. (YIKES!) So, be ready. LOL
Robert has a crazy sense of humor. He can be pretty funny, and he doesn't "beat around the bush" so to speak. So, when I finally get this from him, I will probably have to edit a bit of it (even though he has told me not too! LOL) So, hopefully, I will have this posted in the next few weeks. I can't wait to read, in HIS words, about his life. Like I said in an earlier post, it should be a doozy! :)

I HOPE he talks about playing prison football, cuz when he was telling me about it on the phone, I was cracking up. (It's not funny when someone gets taken to the hospital for landing on the bottom of a "BIG MEN" pile, but sometimes it is! <giggle>.
I really don't want to edit it, maybe just the swear words. (I am sure there will be a few) He told me just a few minutes ago on the phone that maybe I shouldn't tell my mom that he is writing down his life story. He loves it when I show her his letters, but I guess there are some things she doesn't need to know. He also said that I may even be a little dis-illusioned. I told him that I think I have a pretty firm grip on his past (I mean, we all have one right?) but we'll see. I know that his past was at times INSANE, but I guess that's what makes me love him even more. I can't wait! :)
Maybe we can get other loved ones to do this eh? It would be really interesting to hear everyones life story, and it gives them something to do with their time. I mean, when Robert was living at home, he couldn't sit long enough to read a newspaper, but now he is actually writing pages and pages. Just a thought. :)

Hopefully, he will get it sent out to me this week or next. As soon as I get it, it will be posted. Thanks to all of you cuz you REALLY show how much you care. Robert will be thrilled to know that people are taking an interest in him and his life. He is quite proud of some of the things that he has done, and not so proud of others. It is SOOOOO nice to come on to this board and KNOW that people are going to be there for you unconditionally. You guys-if I wasn't still asleep, I'd be gettin' all weepy inside! LOL

Gosh... I too can't wait to read all that he has to say, but I feel a bit badly for you having to type all of it... too bad you don't have a scanner or voice-to-type software or something... :) Does Robert know how anxious we all are waiting on his letter?!? :)
