Hey! Sorry I haven't been around, with school starting you would think there'd be MORE time, but noooo.
Anyway, I'm planning on visiting my cus in Hominy (coming from Texas). Wanted to know how to get permission to visit? How long for approval? I printed a document from the ODC site for visiting. Is this what I use? Where do I send it?
Well, enough from me. Mostly, I'm worried about the time frame...Site say's he's up for parole jan 05, (he says he's got 2 more years to go).<shrug>
If this is anything like the FBI check we hadda got through to foster and adopt, it will be a very loooooooong time:eek:
Any way to get this done in a timely fashion?

My guy is at an FCI... I mailed my visitation app this past Friday, the 20th...and I was approved today (yippee!) :) It doesn't take long at all...

Here in Oklahoma it really depends on the facility. You fill out the form and you mail it to either the visitation dept(if they have a seperate one) or you mail it to his case manager. It can take a few days or it can take 30-45 days!!

I guess the thing to do would be to contact Dick Conner correctional then, to see where to send the app. Gosh, I'm glad I posted here. I was thinking the app, went to the main DOC place!
Reckon I will do that today.

my husband is a Connors and when I filled out the visitation form, I had to send it back to a Kevin Pinkerton, not his case manager, so you might call and talk to him to find out for sure, but it only took a couple of weeks to get approved. Crikey! I talked to whoever answers the phone at Conner, and she said just send the form to Conner and mark it "ATTN: Visitation form".
She said it would be 6-8 weeks to get approved.<sigh>
Got the feeling Im going 'round and 'round here.

Like Kim said it will take a few weeks and up to 6 weeks They don't get in a hurry and No one is speical in there eyes,LOL But you may ask about a extend visit because you are coming from Texas,most of the prison's here will grant a longer visit when over 300 miles some of them are even 200 miles one way. Might check on that!!
It will need to be pre-approved!!!!
