I got a Christmas card from Dale yesterday... and I got all teary eyed... This is what he wrote in it:
She asked, and the Lord replied to the human angel dressed in sinful flesh.... He paused, as if to ponder a curious, fleeting thought: "What is in 13 years, which eternal life can't givith thee?"
She dropped to her knees, raised her weary head, and through warm, streaming rivers of tears she replied, "13 MORE years of eternal life with my love!"
"Ahhh", said the Lord, "I do see your point." Then the Lord made a sweeping motion with his hand and said, "In 13 years you'll see my point and all will be understood...."
