I mailed mine while he was in reception at Donovan and it took exactly 43 days before I heard back that I was approved. I made an appointment that weekend for the following weekend so he was about 60 days in before I got to see him.

I've heard it can be anywhere from 30-60 days at other institutions and remember if he is in reception you have to make an appointment the week prior to your visit.

I put mine in when he was in reception and it took 6 weeks to get approved.

It took me about 1 1/2 months to get approved which is actually faster then I was told. Because the prisons are so short staffed they told me it would take 2 months to get approved.

I put mine in when he got to where he was going and it was pretty fast for me about 2 1/2 weeks I believe.

Mine also took about 2 weeks. As soon mu husband got to hdsp he sent me a visiting form. I filled it out and sent it right back the same day and two weeks later he called me to let me know that I was approved.
