i spent 20 months there and am wondering if much has changed. My best friend mary Beth and I were in the visiting room at least twice per month. good luck and I hope you have fun this weekend.

Hi there...my guy is in for 24 months and we've got almost 5 months down. He's about 6 hours from here, so I've only been down twice so far, and the last time was over the weekend of July 4th. How long ago were you there? I doubt much has changed...there's probably still even the same food in the vending machines. Hopefully the weather will be good so we can at least sit outside. The a/c is nice in the visiting rooms, but it can be so loud in there, we prefer to sit outside where there's a little more privacy.

I 'm sure not much has changed. I was in there for 20 months. the visiting room was a love hate thing. We also liked to sit outside and would walk around the perimeter. My friend would get there early before it got crowded. She was around 5 hours away. Good luck and I hope the time goes fast.
