August 24

Greetings. I am sorry to report that, early this afternoon, the Board of
Pardons and Paroles voted 6-0 against recommending a commutation or any
form of reprieve for James. I have already spoken with James.

Though the odds are against us, we are still fighting for James in the courts.

James Alldridge and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

This is off track, this question, but I was thinking back, and in war time, 2 sons werent allowed to go to war, as it meant one "could be killed", as in the head of the family. Here, they have killed James brother, and now James. This is a cruel, and sad situation, what his parents, family, friends, must feel right now, his mother, to have 2 sons killed to the state of Texas, the despair she must feel.

This situation really saddens me, all executions sadden me, but they have taken away 2 blood brothers, if the state of Texas goes ahead with this execution. This is just a cruel world we live in. :(

I will be visiting at Polunsky tomorrow. There are two executions scheduled this week. Tommorrw and Thursday as well. It's always very happy when the families are there. They always put on a brave front. When the CO's tell them visiting is over, it becomes so quiet in there you can hear a pin drop. Some families take it worse than others. Their cries hurt all the way through. The rest of us (I mean at least my family) pray everyday that day will never come for us. It's very tough visiting on these execution days. I just posted this because not only is a terrible thing being done to the inmate. BUT the family suffers terribly. The public rarely thinks about that. It's very personal to me.

My thoughts are with the inmates Jasen Busby and James Allridge, and their families..........blessings from our family.

This is so so heartbreakingly sad. I don't think I want to believe it that they still want out carry out such totally cruel and senseless injustice to James and his family, and all of these people on death row and their families. I'm still praying and hoping for them all. Please Lord give them strength. You're right Kyla this IS a really, really cruel world.

I truly don't understand what possible purpose an execution serves. I never have, I never will. That this nation accepts murder in the name of the people is just incredible to me. That his family has to suffer so much is beyond reason. My heart truly goes out to them.

my prayers are with him and his family! it saddens me that Texas can be so "proud" and not see the truths about what it means to take someones life. i hope one day they realize this isnt the answer.

God Bless James and his family! Your are on my mind and in my prayers!
