Hello to everyone!! I am new here- I have a loved one on DR in Holman, I live in East Tennessee (moved from Ca little over a year ago). I am active in prison reform groups.

We share good times and bad times with each other and are here for one another. And we are also understanding. I thank God for it! So i'm sorry to hear about your loved one. Welcome I am sure you will come to love this place just as I have. There is so many people here with information you need/want. And so much support. I have made so many friends here and even though I am no longer dating the guy in prison I stil come here to help others and to still cry on some peoples shoulders. SO enjoy your time here and hope to see you around.

Welcome to PTO, Carol!!! Like the others have said...this place is a God-send. I have come to realize that the wonderful people on here...are my "family"...we are here for each other...whether you need to vent, cry...or just talk!!! So...please always remember that we ARE here for you...okay?

Let me also add My /Welcome to PTO and to the Alabama Forum. Like all the others before me have said..this a a "family" and a welcome respite to share our Ups and Downs or just plain chat. With each new post some of us can find info that we didnt know. Every one here are the most kind and caring group I have had the privelege to get to know.

Hi Carol, Welcome to the family. I'v only been on here a few days and already making so many friends. It has been wonderful to communicate with people that know what you're going through. My husband is at Limestone and hopefully will be home in a year, 3 years at the most. I'm sorry about your loved one but I will be praying for him and you also that God will give you the strength you need to get through this situation. There are times I have felt like giving up ut God saw me through and I thank him every day for my husband and what he has done for us even under these conditions. We're here for you if you need a shoulder. Welcome aboard. :p
