(just kidding) I am in California and I do believe some states are different in their requirements. If I were you I would start with asking your fiancee is there some type of paperwork that needs to be completed by the both of you.
Make sure you both have your birth certificates handy where you can put your hands on them and also any divorce papers if either of you have previously been married and divorced. I believe you can get your birth certificates thru the county recorders office of the county your were born in.
I see you are in Texas -- check the Texas forum and some one there will be able to give your current and accurate information on the process you will need to go thru in order to get married.

Since you are in Texas the rules are different. Texas only allows proxy marriages. check out the texas information here in the PW forum or in the Texas forum.

Marrying someone while they are locked up is a huge decision. I have NO regrets for doing it, but it depends on each individual situation. Ultimately only you can make the wisest decision for the 2 of you!
