Hey guys!
I finally got approved to visit!!! My only problem is that I have never done this before and am nervous... I am always really uncomfortable in new situations... it's the whole not knowing where to park, where to walk to, what I need to do.... Can someone who has been there please help me... I don't even have a clue what the place looks like. I don't want this visit to be ruined because of a morning full of nerves...

It took a little over a month and a half.. but that was partly because he forgot to sign the visitor forms when he sent them to me... then when I finally got the signed ones I forgot to put my drivers liscense number.. ugh...

Well make sure you are there really early the line is really long that's if he is not behind the glass. If he is not then you need to be there I would say at 7 am I got there at 8 am and the line was so long it was not even funny so be on time. They are really cool there they really do not give you to much of a problem. they let 5 at a time only to process at a time. I hope your visit goes well you will be just fine you will see.

The first visit is the scary one (it's just the unknown...the look of the place, the rules and gates and fences and all) But what is scarier is that it becomes very normal after a while.

Just grab some wife or mom who looks like she has done this before (she'll stand out, believe me) and whisper to her that this is your first visit, and I'm sure she'll help you through it. Been there done that for a few scared first timer's....:) Us visitors tend to stick together and help eachother out.

And I guarantee that you'll be so happy to see him, that no amount of nerves will spoil it. I promise! :)
