Are u originally from arizona. My husband was thea at the arizona facility
transfered to Tutweiler MS :(

My son has been transferred to Tutwiler, MS from Arizona...... Long away from Hawaii.

planning a trip to Tutwiler beginning of Nov. I was wondering if anyone is planning a trip there as well. Maybe we can get together and support?

When in November...need as much info and planning as possible, as I would be leaving a husband working major overtime and six kids....would be most likely a go if it is being planned for a weekend....

definitely on a weekend... looking at the weekend of November 19, before the Thanksgiving holidays.

My son was transfered from Halawa (Hawaii) to Tallahatchie in June. Has anyone heard of the video conferencing available, my son said that a number of the inmates have been having this type of visit. Any info would be appreciated.

My that's a WONDERFUL thought!!! I hope they have sucess on doing this. Please keep us posted.....

Hmmmm..... that's a good idea.... never heard of it... my son never mentioned it... that would be really nice if there is something like that. I'll call the prison during the week to get more info.

I found out more on the Video Conferencing based out of Halawa Corr. Facility on Oahu. You need to call on either Tuesday or Wednesday to get your name on the list. The video conference is held on a Saturday, in my case being from the Big Island I must drive to Hilo and go to a local church that provides this service. Im not sure on how long I will have to wait yet but at least I will be able to see my son's face. Im sure that they have more frequent conferencing for the parents and loved ones living in Oahu.
