I was in the US Marine Corps in 1973-1977 and I was stationed on Okinawa, Japan in 1973-1974. While in Subic Bay a good friend of mine Michael Fountain was on Grande Island phillipines and sot and killed our Staff Sgt., Sgt Wrin.

I really want to find Corporal Fountain, and I still want him as my friend. The last I heard he was in at Leavenworth. I don't even know where he is now. Does anyone know him? Can anyone help me?

There was two Michael Fountains in the Federal prison system, but both have since been released, one in 1983 the other in 1985.

Good luck in the search for your friend.

Do you know what the sentence was? Life with or without parole? Or a term of years? If it was Life with parole, he could have been released already. I'll see what I can find out. Good luck!

I knew Fountian very well, was a friend of mine while he was in the DB. But his first name was Clayton Fountian. Say story shot a staff sargent in the Phillipines. While at the DB he took a guard hostaged and tried to escape. He was sent to THe "Big Top" at Leavenworth USP. He and another guy got into a killing contest. He was sent to Marion Ill. Max. Where he killed a guard whild in max. He is nowand will probably die at Springfied Federal Medical Prison. Look on google and you can get his web site. Put in Clayton Fountain. If you make contact with him tell him Lee from Canton Oh said hello.

Hope this helped you
