I was gonna copy/paste the article on here but, it keeps messing up so...I thought I'd just post the link. I'm not sure I understand what it's saying...except they are done with the "special docket" paroles. So...does this mean they are gonna be able to get caught up on the "violent offenders" any quicker??? Lord knows I hope so!!

i don't know what the heck its telling us...except they are OUT of non-violent offenders and the Work release programs are costing the state money....DUH....what about our violent offenders ???? all these months behind...i can tell i'm going to have one of those days....DJ
I hear that, Denise! Seems to me...if they have "ran out" of non-violent offenders...they should get caught up like...ummm, MONTHS ago!!! It makes no sense to me...none at all. I mean...Kevin doesn't have a date yet...and probably won't until January or February...but, my goodness...if they are STILL behind then...he won't even go up for parole until his min. out date!!! :( So...I'm not kickin' up a fuss for me and Kevin...it's all of ya'll...I mean...if their dates were say...January/February 2003...they should have went up then...that just MHO...ya know? All this "backlog" crap is just so uncalled for! Maybe they'll tell us something...sometime. Lord knows I won't hold my breath though.
