I was talking to Dales mom the other day, and was telling her about PTO, how much it's helped me, the different forums, and on and on and on. She thought that PTO was just one of the best things she's heard of in a long time.

Well, they don't have computer access... so, what I was wondering....
Are there any fliers made up, brochures telling about PTO, or anything like that that I could send to her? She want's to know if there's any way she can participate in PTO without having computer access???

Thanks,
Jodygirl

is there any school or library nearby where she might have internet access? i'm sure you've already thought of this, but maybe she could find something...?

I see you left a note in the PTO Newsletter thread, I was going to suggest that...when it get's going you can mail her a copy. If you have a printer, you can always print out a thread that you think she may be interested in and mail it to her. You can save a thread as a text file and print it, or you can save it as a web page and print it...mail it off and she can read away.

If you want to save a web page, just go up to your File menu, choose 'save as...' then select either web page or txt file. You'll have to edit the txt file a bit, no big deal, just to take out some formatting...but that's easy to do.

Thanks for the suggestion Toe, and I'll 'TRY' to do something like that.
I'm waiting for the newsletter too. Pat asked that I send her all kinds of information on and about PTO, so I think the newsletter would be the best place to start.
Thanks again,

Jodygirl

can't you just take pictures of the screen with a camera? well, with a zoom lens, of course.

Once again, the business world has separated the haves and the have nots. This is a class as well as a gender struggle my friends. How do we get everybody connected?
It seems to me a basic right!!!! I propose the same thing we do for schools (albeit not entirely succcessful), why are we not supplying computers? Please helpme on this! What can I do?!
