I just got back from a visit with my man and he asked me to marry him and I said yes! He wanted to get on one knee but couldn't or the visit would be over.
I called his mom right after I left and she was happy for us!

We are engaged!!!!

If anyone knows alot about diamonds let me know. I am shopping for my ring this week and don't know what I am looking at as far as the letters diamonds are assigned, etc.

I went to a diamond wholesaler. Was there for 3 hours. I got a

3/4 carat Princess cut diamond
Tiffany setting

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!! IT IS WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D

I went out to the car and took out my man's pic and put his pic on my lap and told him I loved him and let him "see me put it on." I cannot wait for him to call so I can tell him!!!!!!!

I am going to take pictureS of it to send my man but I didn't want to wait for them to be developed. I took pics with my palm pilot so they'd be "instant." The palm takes CRAPPY pics and the pics do not do the ring justice but you'll get an idea. I do not know how to post pics or links on here so here are the URLs to take a peek:

Well this was a more expensive option but it will wear excellently over the years AND if something funky happens, I have an awesome diamond that I can sell, trade up or whatever. A good investment. (I'm not planning on the funky thing...that is my practical side thinking).

congrats! it is a beautiful ring. My man kept asking me to marry him, and I would say, I want to date first when you get out. Then he wrote me an erotic story and in the middle of it he is on one knee asking me to marry him. I wrote him back "YES" and went to Mervyn's closing sale and bought myself a ring! I felt a little silly buying my own ring. It is the first diamond of any kind that I have had, and I do like it. I took a photo of it on my hand and sent it to him. I told him he needs to replace it after he's out! Or add a band to it I guess.
