Has anyone had any experience with the prescription drug Zyprexa in relation to Crack/Cocaine Addiction? I know it is used to treat certain mental disorders but have also heard that it is prescribed to addicts to help calm the "anxious feeling" of wanting to go out and do crack/coke. I have done some research on-line, but haven't found a great deal of info on the subject.

Anything that anyone can offer in terms of input on this topic would be greatly appreciated. :)

When I called a doctor to ask about some advice for my boyfriend he recommened this drug. He said that it has produced a high success rate, but that is really all he said about it. I would also like to know more about this drug.

I work in a detox-unit and i have not heard of this.

That is weird 1day, I have found that used as treatments at some detox facilities. I did a search on the internet and a few that listed that drug as part of the treatment. Let me know if you look into it and find anything out.
