I suggest that you take the truthful approach. Because if you say you have never been married and they somehow check and find something out -- what will the consequences be?? And will the consequences be worth the lie??
I am not sure how thorough of a search they do and how far they check. Like do they just check the county you are in, or the city, the state or other.
I mean how much longer will it be before your divorce becomes final??
When it is final you will be legally free to marry. Just my 2 cents but I think that in this case honesty is the best policy. I would hate to see your marriage application denied because you neglected to mention you had been previosly married. Some one else may be to give a detailed opinion as to how you maybe penalized show they find out the truth after you have ommitted information.
I sure you will get other opinions on this thread.

If the divorce isn't final yet your new marriage wouldn't be valid would it? I would tell the truth because if you don't and they find out then it would be denied I'd imagine

Also if the divorce isn't final yet because of child issues there are papers you can file to terminate marital status only and have it be finalized reserving all other issues until a later date

If you do that you will be commiting a crime that you can go to jail for. If you and your man love each other, I'm quite sure you can both wait a little more time.

thanks everbody for your advice... I decided to wait my man and I are just both sexually fustrated... i'm sure you guys understand I feen for my honey's touch...but thanks again.. I sent the papers for my husband to sign so hopefully it all goes smooth...
