I went to visit MyGuy on Tuesday (here is where I do my quick whine .. he's in CDU and we only get non-contact visits on Tuesdays for 2 hours .. I work full time and can't go (200 miles 1 way) very often .. so our visits are few and far between...:blah: DAMMNIT) but .. .on with my story... the CO III while we were waiting for another lady to sign in, asked me my name. I told him, and he said .. oh you're the Fiancee :p ... I just smiled.. (we're not engaged .. nor have I ever been referred to as such but ... I played the game) ... I said "Yes" he began to explain that the parole officer who would be assigned to MyGuy would be contacting me to make arrangements to do the home visit to approve our home for his release. I was just JUMPING with excitement inside .. I knew eventually we'd be getting close to this time, and this was such an excellent opening to our visit.... I told the CO III that there was a small problem .. I was leaving State tomorrow (I'm a software product consultant & my work takes me on the road) but that I don't want to miss the parole officer or do anything to endanger our approval for his release ... The CO III has always been an A$$ before .. but was very sweet and helpful told me to contact him in a couple weeks after the paperwork has gone through and he'd make certain that I had the parole officers name so I could contact them regarding my availability for our interview.

Ok .. there really is the purpose of my post .. (sorry for the long story leading into such a simple question) Does anyone know what I am to expect from this "interview" with his Parole Officer? :confused: I'm excited .. scared, thrilled and anxious ... we have 140 days until MyGuy comes home .. and I can't wait!!

Part of MyGuy's release conditions is his Parole Officer approving our residence as the location of his release. The CO III (counselor) said I should be hearing from the Parole Officer within the next month. :confused: At the time he was telling me, he was still unsure which office / location would be where he was assigned to. Thank goodness MyGuy will only do 4 months parole .... I just want this over ... every time I start feeling sorry for myself I think about him ... sitting in that flippng cell doing the time .... and I think about you lovely ladies waiting for 10xs the length I had to ..... I admire you all. ;)

His couselor said if I'd call him in a couple weeks he could tell me which office he'll be assigned to. We don't live in the Metro Valley area ... so I suspect it will be the parole office in our area ... (Casa Grande will be the closest) ... but he said he'd be able to give me the information to do exactly as you suggest .. contact them directly to avoid missing the interview.

The Parole Officer called today ... crazy a$$ DOC .. they say he is TR ineligible but then the PO calls to schedule the home visit anyway! PPfffttt :eek:

Tomorrow is the day .. he's suppose to be here about 4 PM .. he basically said he needed to verify the house exists .. has utilities .. said he'd have to see my identification (drivers license) and there was some "interview questions" we would need to go over. He made it sound pretty basic ...

Was really sweet ..My cell phone rang .. this man identified himself .. and said "MyGuy wants to come live with you when he's released from prison" .. I kinda giggled and said ... "I want him to come live with me too!! " :D

He said ok .. then I need to make a home visit, I would like to schedule this for tomorrow when I'm in your area....
