We got married as planned... barely! Tons of things went wrong that day. Now I can look back and laugh but I was a real mess at the time! My make-up ran down my face from crying ( it took 3 hours to be processed and we almost missed the judge, said he wasn't waiting so they bumped us up in line as he was leaving) The officer had no record of our wedding and said our license wasn't there. I was so nervous during our vows that I had to prop my shoulder against the wall so I would quit swaying. My hair was ruined by the weather and wind. Bottom line- WE DID IT!!! I knew I was happy but was completely overwhelmed at Gino's reaction. He's totally off the charts happy. It was a great day afterall. My maid of honor and I then went to Canada on our honeymoon and had a great time. Took pics of all we did and brought them to Gino so he could share the fun.
After meeting Diane, the first thing he said to her was that he appreciated her being such a good friend to me and flying from FL to NY etc. for our wedding and promised her that we would have a proper wedding when he comes home. I was so touched.
I'm going to have the pics scanned and will try to post them soon.

i am so excited for you, mrs. d...sorry you had to have a little bit of stress, but it sounds like it was worth it...well, CONGRATULATIONS to you and gino both, and i really look forward to seeing the pictures! WOOHOO!
