After 13 years locked up I still live for my husband's mail. I don't wilt and die if I don't get any for a day or two but I do suffer. When he was first locked up the letters were horrible ... hell, he was 18! Now, they are so sweet, deep and full of love. Our phone time and visits are limited so letters are extremely important.

Its nice to get letters and be able to notice a change and nice to still get mail that ISNT A BILL!!!! :)

I know exactly how you feel. Dre's letters motivate me do to right. When I feel like giving up, I read his letters, and my attitude changes.

It varies from prison to prison. At the very least it will have the return address in the corner. Some have the red stamp telling you it's from an inmate from __________.
