I haven't spent any time in this forum until this evening. I just started reading back through many of the older posts. I read so many strong and heartfelt messages from you ladies that I felt compelled to just share with you how much of an inspiration you are all.

My husband is serving a 25 years to life sentence, but we at least have a chance at him coming home someday, God-willing. After reading through your posts, I felt not only humbled by them but even a bit ashamed that I often whine and complain about the 32 months that we have until his first parole hearing.

I am left feeling admiration, inspiration and encouragement from the strength that you all display. My prayers are with you all. God Bless.

Rosita-You are right. We have to hold onto our hope, love and faith in God in order to find the strength to make it through this journey.

I want to say to all you lovely ladies standing behind your men..I ADMIRE AND HAVE THE MOST RESPECT FOR YALL- SOO MUCH!! I havent visited this forum until now either and it breaks my heart. At times I find myself complaining about little things..now reading posts I cant believe the stuff i've complained about or taken for granted! Rosita, you are right, continue leaning on Him. thank you so much for your kind words. i am sure the other ladies appreciate them as much as i do. it does take a lot of stregnth to maintain a relationship under these circumstances. but the love is strong and keeps me there adn thats why i do it, plus i want my man to be happy too. when hes happy im happy cuz i love him so much adn that bond keeps me hanging strong.
