:angry: Since Ron got moved to prison on July 23 rd, I have only recieved one letter from him and its been a week, almost two since I got it and still no letter. He always writes at least once or twice a week. I am depressed and really worried. i have sent him tons of letters 2 or 3 a week and I jsut dont get it. I was really hoping today would be the day I would get my prison letter but sadly mail has come and gone and no letter. I dont understand I am very confused. This is our only line of communication until I get a visitation packet and I havetn gotten that either. I am starting to think bad thoughts and I dont like thinking that way. I hope he is statying true to all his promises and words he ahs written. PLease advise or just talk..thanks

Finally got a letter today!! It was 16 pages front and back :D I was soo happy. It was the sweetest letter. I love hijm so much. I miss him too. He got most of the letters I have sent to him so far, so I am happy now. I am hoping I will get more later too.

Glad u got some mail darlin :) I know its always a worry when those letters dont arrive.

Letters are all we have, we cant talk on the phone and I cant visit him yet, so his letters are what brightens up my day.

I have no money to give him for stamps, and he hasnt gotten a work order yet so its gonna get really dificult soon unless his mom will send him some money, I sent him like 5 dollars last week, but who knows how far that will go

I will, its very relaxing and soothing for me to write to him, its kinda like journaling because I tell him everything I am feeling and everything that goes on in my day so it always makes me feel better. So as long as I keep writing and eventually get some sort of letter back from him then I will know he gets mine and I will be happy.

darn letters are taking forever to get to me, I hate our mail system, been only getting one letter a week and I sent like 4 a week and it takes him a long time to recieve mine too. does anyone else have this problem?

I don't have this problem, however, a suggestion for you. Have you asked him to ask others there if they are experiencing the same thing. Have you checked the date on the letter verses the postmark date on the envelope. That might give you some clues.
I think the larger the prison is, the more difficult it is to process all of the mail in a timely manner. This also could be the problem.
