Hello, I'm new here and have a few questions about Lancaster Prison in California. My uncle is incarcerated there ...

1) Can they receive packages for Xmas?
2) What are their days like when they are on Level 4?
3) How much contact with other inmates do they have?
4) How are their medical care services?
5) He is in Housing B Unit 2 -- does anyone know what type of unit that is? (dorms or private cells ... etc).

I would appreciate any and all information!

TIA - Val

Hey everybody...

I was in touch with Val via PM and she is still looking for information about this Prison.

Is there anyone out there that can answer these specific questions?

Thanks!

I have tried to help Val with information but haven't heard back from her. My fiance is at Lancaster. They are housed 2 men in a cell. Each yard is a community by itself. Those on "B" yard don't see those on "C" yard etc. Medical is VERY VERY VERY SLOW. It is important that her loved one stays on top of any medical condition. For example, Ruben had a blood test in Feb. and we got the results Dec 15. That was after he repeatedly requested the results. "B" yard is general population and they seem to have a few "problems". If there are nay other equestions, I would be more than happy to answer or help in any way I can. I have been going to Lancaster for over a year.

hi, i'm new, i have a 25 year old son incarerated at lancaster. i have a disability so will answer lower case letters, i am using only one finger so please be patient. right now you can send quarterly packages when your loved one sends you a letter. building b 2 is ok, the cells have 2 per. if your love one is new, it may be awhile before you hear from him. there is a change of guards so tempers are high. good luck, chevsmama
