I went to the ADC seach inmate site. I found my husband, but instead of showing where he was going or a release date it said...not comp and an asterick that says... may be affected by other laws and regulations.

Please tell me someone what that means. Is it serious? Where is he? Why hasn't he called? He is not a troublemaker.

They are probably still getting all the information that the need to put into the computer. (ie after diagnostic, where he will be going and computing his parole date) Don't worry, just keep checking back and they will get his information posted.:)

I am not sure about the phones at diagnostic. I know when he gets to his destination that he will have to put your phone number down on his list and it will have to be approved. That can take a bit of time sometimes.

I am sure as soon as he is able, he will call and/or write. He is probably scared also and going through much emotionally hard times as well.

I know how scary and frustrating this is. But there really isn't anything that can be done. Just a sit and wait game.

you can call diagnostic direct and ask what your husbands situation is, I have found that if the administration of the prison won't help me, sometimes (depending on the chaplin) but sometimes if you ask to speak to the champlin he will find out things for you and let your husband know that you are concerned etc.
however, prisons work on prisons time ( which is slower than slow ) for most everything, your husband is having to adjust, just as you are, we've all been there and know how you feeel, try not to be too upset.
