The father of my child has been recently transferred to the Varner unit in Grady, AR from the boot camp in Pine bluff, AR and I have never heard from him ever since. I was wondering if anyone knows about that prison and why he was sent there cause he has to do 120 days bootcamp and 5 years prison. Please if anyone can relieve my concerns and questions by telling about he Varner Unit and/or a site i can go to, to get information about it i would appreciated it very much.

My husband was at Varner for a few months last fall before transferring to Tucker Unit. It was an o.k. facility as far as I know. You can go the the Arkansas Dept. of Corrections Website to get phone numbers and driving directions. Let me know if you have anymore questions.
