Darn, the knob for my ac, which is plastic, broke. A piece inside snapped and I had to try so many things to get it to turn on last night, so I ended up using my nail clipper to turn it, HOW GHETTO!!!!!!

does anyone know if it can be glued somehow and still work or is it possible to buy a knob from somewhere, I got this ac second hand but its a great one...Carrier. even if it is not digital damn it!

Well I had somewhat of a similiar problem, my knob on my baseboard heater broke off during the winter....lol.... I just kept a pair of needle nose pliers laying around near it.... which I know not such a good thing either, try WalMart or somewhere I am sure they sale some kind of knob you could put on there.... how about a cabinet knob like on your kitchen cabinets?? Wouldnt that work??? Good luck!!! :thumbsup:
