Hi, I'm trying to locate my dad. I tried to get his TDCJ # But i've been waiting and it hasnt come.
All I know about him is... His name is Michael King, white and about 43 years old. I know that he's been in the Sanchez Unit in El Paso before. I believe his offense is usually drugs.
My mom lost custody of me for child abuse a few years ago and she was the only link i had to ever finding him again. When she found him before, he was in jail somewhere around abliene, tx. I last heard from him in 2001 and he was in the sanchez unit again.
I'm lost in all this. I'd just like to get to know him.
Thank you,
Fancie

I put in his name with out race or middle name and quite a few Michael Kings came up. Why don't you try it with a little more detail. They have a first and last name search.

Welcome to PTO.... first if your dad was incarcerated before then if you have his DOC# from before you have half the battle already.... I did a search for Michael King white male 43-44 and it came back with a few names, 7 to be exact....so you might want to try that as well.... but as far as finding him online Texas does not have a inmate locator online.... one where you can put in his name and it come back with all his information... they are still in the stone ages.... so there really is no way of locating him exactly unless you try any of the below listed information.... good luck in your search!!!

thank you... i had already tried the TDCJ things... i emailed them but i haven't recieved a reply. Do you know how long it usually takes? i also tried that link you added at the end and the only result i found was a black male. Thank you very much, but i guess my search is hopless... i've even tried searching all the sherrif websites here and such and they only have civil case and pending criminal... so i'm lost.

It took the email a very long time to answer my request, I'm thinking like a couple of weeks at least. I'd call, much faster.
