My Sweety sent me a drawing on a drawing board. Well it got sent back and the mail person made up a rule stating "Your written correspondence only". Well my sweety sent it back in another letter with a stamp and I got it anyway. This is so stupid because it shows how they can make up rules on the spot according to "what they feel like" is acceptable correspondence. He even sent me the slip that this mail person hand wrote the "new" rule for mail. So he wasted on stamp the first time he tried to send it and he only gets 4 a week! I promise you TDCJ is a joke :blah: !!!

Babieboo, that is so stupid for them to make up a rule on a whim like that.:angry: :angry: IT is a good thang your man had the good sense to put it into another letter and re-send it to you.
Now it is up to you how you choose to handle this -- but you could write a letter to the warden and cc: the mail room with a complaint about this, also make a copy of the slip from the mail room and include it in your letter. And if the slip from the mail room had a name on it that is even more support for you should you decide to write a letter.
Then again you may just want to let it go. Because they may decide to be real butt heads about future mail to you from him and yours to him. Best of luck in how you choose to proceed.
