Hey everyone, I don't know if this is the right forum or not. I have a question.

Me and my boyfriend have a baby boy due on Dec. 15th and we have NOOOO clue about what to name him. I already have a boy named Michael. I am white and the dad is black so I want a name thats not Too ghetto and not too plain.:p My boyfriend picked out Julian but I HATE it so.... any suggestions??????????????

I have 2 daughters so I never had the opportunity to think about boys names; but some of my favorites boys names are: Chase, Lincoln, Christopher, Matthew, Joshua and Ian. Believe it or not, I am black, but as I look at my list they do seem a bit more "plain" than "ghetto":D ...oh well...just my two cents.

Good luck!

Well I have a girl her name is RaeNelle, I am white and her father is black. I have a list of boy names and I like both "ghetto" names and regular names. How about Isaiah~ Elijah~Shannon ((yes I like that name for a boy))~Darius~Tyson~Tristin~Craig~Cordell~. As a matter of fact I dont really like those names any more. Have you looked at a African American baby book for names? They do have them.

I like Braden, Isaiah, Anthony, etc. There's a website that has all baby names and their meanings too. I think it's called babynames.com or something like that. You can pull up "baby names" in a search engine too. There are some really cool nice names out there :) Good luck and congratulations!!! You are SO lucky!!! (I don't have any yet :( ) I also like Darius, Darian, etc..

There's an ABC thread in the games forum @ PTO on boys names. You might want to check it out. I like Carlin, Braedan. My friend is black and she named her son...Amir. My other friend who is white but with a black guy...named their son...Nicholas. And another couple named their sons...Edison and Schuyler. Good Luck with your name hunt....I always like searching names.

I suggest you do a google search...

My kids names are:

Stormie Kristine (she'll be 25 in September)
Michael Dennis (21 in August and he has his dads name in reverse)
Christian James (he will be 18 the day after Christmas, I teased him that had he been born a day earlier I would have had to name him Jesus!!! The James is for James Dean)

Congratulations,
Patty
