Hi, I have a question about parole plan approval that I am hoping someone can help me with. My brother made parole this month and his T.E. date was last month. Right now all we are waiting on is for his parole plan to be approved. Chris is paroling out to my parents and the parole officer went to their house today to inspect it. When my dad talked to the officer after the visit, he said the officer told him that they would make their decision in the next couple of days but he wasn't sure that he wanted my brother to be released right now because he was in a little bit of trouble when he first went into prison over 16 months ago. What I want to know is if the parole officer can refuse Chris' parole plan based on things that happened while he is inside? I thought that the only way the parole plan could be denied after the board approved them for parole was if there was a problem with the house. I would really appreciate any input anyone has on this. I am also posting this in the parole/probation forum. TIA
