I'm new here.My husband has been in and out over the years and now he's been caught again.I have a general question though.Aren't you supposed to go before a judge within 72 hours of being arrested or be released?Can he legally be held over 72 without going before a judge?

first of all welcome to PTO...and the alabama forum...as for your question...i'm pretty sure they can hold him pretty much as long as they like...is he in violantion of parole or porbation? that could be the hold up..i'm not 100% sure about this..but i THINK they should have bond set by now if he's not being held on a violation
