 Just wanted to let you all know how our visit went at Camden Work Release.
Visiting is every Sunday from 8:30-1:30. The dress code is the same with the prison. We sat outside at picnic tables and was allowed to smoke.
No correction officers standing over you ready to jump down your throat. I guess they know the guys know the rules there and their guest is expected to abide by them. All the hugging and kissing you want! LOL!!!
My grandson was able to get in to see his Dad with no problems
(UNLIKE BIBB). He hadn't seen his Dad since December of last year.
The correction officers made us feel welcomed and made my grandson feel comfortable about being there. They talked to us about our trip there, how long my son has been incarcerated and when he expects to get out. How old his little boy is.They told us to enjoy our visit. My grandson was allowed to take in a couple of toys, him and his Dad played with together. They wrestled each other on the grass, chased each other and had a stick fight! LOL!
It was a great visit, a long drive but well with it to be treated with respect. When we was ready to leave after saying our goodbyes one of the correction officers came to the door along side my son and waved goodbye to us! Believe it or not! :faint:
I don't think anyone else here has a loved one there but if you want anymore info on Camden Work Release, since most of us here have never heard of it, please feel free to pm me.
We are really looking forward to our next visit! :D
