This is my husbands first time in prison and I hope and pray, the last. Can anyone give me info on Corcoran 1? I still have not been approved for visiting and they have had my paperwork since May 1st. I was told by them that the longest it would take would be 60 days. The first time I sent it in I was told it was thrown away because I downloaded the form from the Internet. I was also told by my man that he heard if you keep calling your paperwork is put to the bottom? I have only called once and yet I have not been approved and my man tells me that other wives and girlfriends of other inmates have been approved in much less time. Is there some criteria I am not understanding? I have no felonies as an adult. As a juvenile yes but I am now turning the F-Word (40) next month. I was under investigation years and years ago for a few things and have been told that I had "very interesting affiliations" by a Fed once or twice but I was never arrested or convicted of anything. (I just happened to know some colorful people that's all.) Does an FBI file come into play when considering you for visitation or is it only your arrest record? Has it taken any of you this long or longer and was there a reason?

He may be the one in prison but he is not the only one here "serving time".
