Hi Everyone;

The love of my life is over in California Mens Colony in San Luis Obispo, his original release date was 10/2004, a riot broke out in 5/2004 and he was taken into solitare, after he came out he started school, then he started to work to get his time back, he went to the couselor to file for his release date, and they gave him 2/2005, but his councler said that date was before he started school and working, to reduce his time. His counselor told him wait and file on 7/2004, last week he filed for his RD again, his counselor then told him that now we have to wait until 09/2004 to even file for his new RD and then still wait 2 weeks after to get his actual RD.
So I am asking now is that how does he get back his 10/2004 release date, and how much does his work and school take off the 2/2005 date?
Can anyone help me out with this please it's driving me insane just waiting!!!!!

As long as he is working, and assuming he is eligible for halftime, he will get 2 days of credit for each day. When he was placed in Ad/Seg his status changed and he will only get 1 day credit for each day there. So for a ballpark figure take his old release date and add one day for each day he was in Ad/Seg.

Won't be exact but it will be relatively close.

There is no way to get that time back unless he can prove he was placed in Ad/Seg in error. If he can, they will restore his A1A status during that time and his original time should be restored.

Nancy, my man is also at CMC. Once your husband got out of the hole how long did it take for him to get enrolled into a schooling program? When an inmate is not going to school or working or gets into any disceplinary problems his status will change to A2B, which means he is not earning his half time just like Sgt. Anonymous said.

I hope everything works out fine.

If he is eligible for half time, his new date will be somewhere around half of what he
lost. If he lost 8 months, then that would proably push his new half time date up about
4 months if he is working or in school. Hope this helps. Suzi
