Ladies and gents...

I called that 1-888-726-9799 and pulled up the parole hearing thing on board of paroles web site...and put in some of the AIS numbers that were older numbers...you know Kenny's starts with 146### so i just was checking them and you know what

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE ONES THAT I CHECKED (AROUND 20 OR SO) WHERE ALL DENIED...Either with reset or not...

wow...i'm wondering if they are sending all violent offenders off again...

i know i'm out flying that "crazy kite' again...LOL

Aw man. That sucks so much.

I am not very enthusiastic at all about our possibilities. Between his VO status and that stupid disciplinary in January I just don't think it's gonna happen. He's kicking himself all over again for the disciplinary, I've gotten past the crying over spilled milk part about it but I can't say I wish it hadn't happened.

At least you did get thru.... that crazy thing kept hanging up on me, saying AIS numbers were invalid, etc., etc. .... I think it really had a problem on Monday nights...

I keep bouncing back and forth on the parole thing. Kenny on the other hand is finished with the whole ideal. He said is can't allow himself to even think about paroling out.

But i just can't help but get my hopes up. I mean a day earlier would be that..a day earlier..

He's started to get a little pissy with me over it. Keeps telling me to let it go, he thinks he'll be to close to EOS when they finally get to Oct 2002 and that no violent offenders are making it any way..

I wish i could just let it go, well maybe tomorrow i'll be in a different mode and go back to not even thinking about that "life playing" parole board....

denise think of it this way, if he EOS's then you never need to deal with the doc again... if it was just a matter of a few months i would definitely want my man to eos.

DeniseJ

i know...that's what kenny keeps telling me...he eos's 2/2006...so if he don't come up for 10/2002 parole hearing soon he's going to be within the year...besides that he's a Sex offender so we (he) has to register anyway...SSDD...i just need him home so bad it crazy...i'm crazy and not doing so well these days with all of this.....today some guy came up on my front porch and stoled my daughters bike...and it sent me into a emotional mess..like i can't just go buy her a nother one..i'm just over emotional these days...I WANT HIM HOME.....

Cember is right it's far better to be through with the mess. I hope things work out for you guys. Please keep your doors locked, if someone came on your porch and took your daughter's bike they probably wouldn't hesitate to come in your house.
Stay strong Denise and hang in there.

thanks lace...i couldn't believe the whole bike thing..i mean if you pull up in my yard it isn't hard to tell that we don't have much. Both the kids where at home, my 16 year old was asleep and my daughter was in one of the rooms close to the back of the house when she heard our dogs barking. she went to the front of the house and looked out the widow to see the man pulling out of the drive with her bike, by the time she woke my son he was gone.

I always thought i lived in a pretty safe area, its crazy what the world is coming too.

when you get too emotional denise, just stop and take a deep breathe.. i usually drink a tall glass of cold water and that helps too for some reason... i usually get that way around my *special* time of the month.. or rather right before it.. lol..

About this automated number...my son has been transferred about 4 or 5 weeks now and they still don't have his location on there. It just says it's not available. So maybe they are way behind on updating it. Glad your feeling better Denise! A bud light always helps!!!

Lace, I was wondering if maybe they just don't have Camden in their system yet... it's not listed on any of the DOC's official web stuff either...

Maybe they don't have it in the system yet...when you look at the facility map it says it opened as a work release camp in 1976. I know the place looks run down. It used to be part of department of transportation and DOT it's still located there just in another building.
It also shows he is at Camden on the inmate search. I thought it was a little strange but I will keep trying P&P. You know how slow they are to catch on to things!

Really? I didn't even know it existed until your son got moved there. That's all kinda strange...!!!

Hi Denise!

My name is Mary and I'm kinda still new to PTO...joined last week. I just wanted to say that I too am concerned with the Parole Boards "backlog" of cases and the dalays in parole hearings as well as whether they are granting any paroles in "violent offender" cases. My husband was due for his 9th parole hearing in April 2004...and we are hearing that they are 18 months behind schedule. He has learned of some "violent offender" cases that have been given parole at the honor camp where he is at. I can only hope and pray that things will be favorbale for us this time around! I am so sick and tired of this whole process of Parole Hearings after 20 years of it!!!! I hope to God that I can make it till the end...whenever that is for us! LOL

Hello to Lys, Cember, Lace too! God Bless all you brave and beautiful ladies!!!
I am praying for you and your loved ones release...Please do the same for us. Thanks!

Hey, what is this phone number that you guys mentioned here? Is there a number I can call to check status of hearing dates or something?

Kindly,
Mary

Hi Mary! Good to see you! I hope to talk with you more soon, I have been really swamped with PTO "work" this week... they don't unlock the handcuffs that keep me locked to the computer and PTO much... :D

The number is: 1-888-726-9799

I hate to admit this but I have it in my phone's memory... LOL... :)

Hi Lys!

Hey, thank you so much for the phone number...I'll have to check that out. I'd like to talk with you more also...so, when you get the time just PM me. I understand about hectic days...LOL...Mine seem to stay that way lately too. We ladies have to "wear a lot of hats" while doing time with our men and some days it's all I can do to just stay afloat! You're in my thoughts and prayers girlfriend! God Bless you!

Kindly,
Mary

PS Don't be surprised if it hangs up on you after you push the "4" for pardons & paroles info - it has a habit of doing that lately - just keep trying and eventually you will be able to get to it...

Okay...Thanks Lys. hey, after all the "patience" I've had to develop these past years....I guess I can scrap up a little more for that...LOL Have a great evening...I've got to get off this here "Tinker Toy" and get myself to bed.

HI all,
Robby was paroled and graduated his last program On Friday. Someone told him there is an automated number for release dates also, is the 1-888-726-9799 the same number or does it even exist or is it a different one?

Lysbeth

Anne - yes, the number is the same.

Miner - yes, if it's actually been announced on the line then it should be the for real date. There would be few instances where it would end up getting changed...

Hi Mary, I know what you mean about waiting for a positive parole decision. My husband has been in for 27 years come January and although I have not been married to him the entire time (2+ years now) I have been with him as a good friend for the entire time. We've been together through 11 previous hearings but the first ten were only for show and I know they never meant to even consider him ~ because last time was the first time they even sent out victim notification letters. I have always been the one to tell him the decision and I can't wait for that day to come when I can give him the decision that we both have been waiting for. Our hearing was due January 2004 so it looks like we are at least finally getting within eyesight of the darn thing.

Denise ~~ Wow, that's great news that you guys finally got your notice. And now Lysbeth and B are getting ready ......... and Lewis is home. Hey ~~ has anybody heard from Sue since he got home???? Or did I miss the thread somewhere?

The whole backlog situation is so ridiculous and the answers seem so simple to those of us who are seeing it from this side of the political arena. **sigh** But what else can we do but keep putting one foot in front of the other............
