I have a... well, I guess you could call him my boyfriend... whose in jail for possesion. I was wondering how I would send him a letter? He's in the Mens Central Jail in L.A. and I have no Idea how this works so any tips would be great!!:D :)

Another thing, the cops only had a warrant for pot when they searched his apartment, but they took his coke, speed, and everything else, too. Shouldn't he get let out earlier since they didn't have a warrant for the other narcotics?:confused:

On the envelope put his: name and number, prison adress (look it up on their website) Don't forget to put a return adress in it...

I don't know what the regulation are in LA but if they have a warrant for pot and find any other illegal substances during their search he will be charged with those as well. Not sure though, this is the way it works in Europe

You could get the correct mailing address if you have his full name and birthday or his CDC number by calling (916) 445-6713 (thats for California inmates only) Good luck and I wish I could help you out on your other question, but I'm not sure about those regulations. Take care!! Bye
