I knew this day would come - my son was transferred out of Smith County Jail today. They tell me he was sent to the Bowie County Correctional Facility. Can anybody tell me where this is, how to contact them. I can not find anything about this place

I Live In Texarkana . The Telephone Number Is (903) 791-1608. The Bcc Is A Spin Off Of The County Jail. They Send People There Who Are Awaiting Trial Or Who Awaiting To Go To Prison. They Even Have Tdcj People There Doing Some Time. It Is Air Conditioned And It Is Run By Civi Genics. Jail Contractors. My Hubby Was There For 45 Days. They Are Linient With Visitation 2 Times A Week And It Does Not Have To Be On A Week End. It Is Not A Bad Place To Be Several Of My Friensa Hubbys Are There,and No Horror Stories. Hope This Helps.

i live in smith county. i just wanted to tell u be glad he got moved. ive been in that jail and so was my husband. it is horriable! the food is uneatable,very unsanitary,no sanitary items and the guards are assholes. so be glad he was moved.
